Good food, well presented and unique. Attentive staff.

At "La storica di Asso," I found the kind of restaurant I love. Authentic, Italian ingredients, courtesy, and a touch of spontaneity. We were drawn to the mixed platter as an appetizer—the cured meats and cheeses were sublime—but the sausage tartare and fried gnocco trumped everything else! For the main course, I decided on the suckling pig in tuna sauce, delicious. Finally, they offered me a licorice liqueur, which I adore—it was also excellent! In short, if you want to eat well, this is the place to go!

For over 300 years in the restaurant business, you can taste the quality, authenticity, experience, and elegance: the dishes are simply delicious! If you're in the area, a stop by is a must! P.S. I forgot to ask about the Bonarda cellar. If you read this, let me know :)

A real favorite! From the moment you arrive, you feel like you're staying with friends: smiles, attentiveness, and kindness. The dishes are absolutely delicious, from start to finish: authentic Italian flavors, fresh ingredients, and perfectly prepared. The wine paired perfectly with the meal, and the dessert... simply divine! A flawless experience, one to repeat without hesitation. Bravo and thank you to the entire team!

Elegant in its rusticity Friendly service Reasonable price

Only one word comes to mind to review this place... congratulations! The appetizers are sublime, the various types of bruschetta are delicious, the raw sausage with bread is wonderful, and so are the other dishes. The first courses are good and the second courses are excellent...all the dishes are a fusion of flavors and sensations, made with top-quality ingredients! What about the staff? We were served by a gentleman, I assume the owner, who was kind, friendly, smiling, and knowledgeable in describing each dish with care and attention. The place has an old-fashioned feel, as evidenced by the numerous posters on the wall displaying various retro advertisements and slogans. In short...if you want to spend an evening or lunch with good food and a great atmosphere, I'd say this is the place for you. We'll be back!

Posto bellissimo, vintage,pieno di storia e ricordi.Arrivati,c è stato subito un disguido,in quanto non avevano segnato il nostro arrivo x sbaglio,ma hanno risolto subito con un sorriso e trovato un tavolo x noi.Puo' capitare,l importante è risolvere.Cibo eccellente,tutto fatto da loro,la pasta in casa fenomenale,la Fiorentina si scioglieva in bocca,i dolci,fatti dal proprietario ( mi sembra di aver capito) buonissimi. In più ci hanno offerto un vino rosso molto buono,dei biscotti all olio e affine pasto,un simpatico bicchiere con caramelle di una volta.in più il mio dolce è stato portato con una candelina e la cameriera mi ha cantato " tanti auguri" ed è stata una vera coccola. Alla fine ci hanno anche offerto il caffè x scusarsi di nuovo del piccolo inconveniente iniziale e xchè non abbiamo voluto il digestivo. È così che si trattano i clienti! Abitando lontano era un anno, maledetto me, che non ci andavo. Invitato per un compleanno mi sono reso conto che un oretta di auto stravale la pena. Antipasti variegati ma ben accoppiati come sapori, uno più buono dell'altro, tagliatelle farina di castagne fatte in casa come non fa più nessuno, costata eccezionale con patate al forno deliziose. E i dolci...ma c'era forse in cucina Massari? Poi la simpatia: bicchierino di ottima Bonarda come benvenuto, gommoni e dolcetti dopo il caffè per sfizio per chi aveva ancora un po' di spazio nello stomaco, servizio competente e col giusto grado di humour. Non farò certo passare ancora un tale lasso di tempo per tornare in questo antico tempio del mangiar bene!!!
