I'll start by saying that I had never been there and I must say that I was very surprised by the variety of foods offered in the starters and the quality obviously no less. We booked for 8 and we all appreciated the good food proposed by the chef including the dessert which finally wasn't packaged but handcrafted, specifically a mimosa cake, a profitterol and a panna cotta, all three very good, the place was very quiet, a location not far out of town but quiet and away from city traffic, all in all a good experience, low costs.

Truly a surprise, we chose the appetizer menu with drinks and desserts, delicious and plentiful, at the very honest price of 23 euros, from cold cuts to cheeses, olives, dried tomatoes, courgettes and sweet and sour potatoes, sublime, caponata, vegetable couscous, omelettes, green beans, pumpkin soup, tripe, spelled with vegetables, delicious pears, walnuts, blueberry and rocket, melon with ham and I don't remember what else, all exceptional. We will be back to taste the first and second courses. Highly recommended.

Quando meno te lo aspetti….trovi un posto a conduzione familiare, dove, si mangia bene, location calda e accogliente e pulita, da provare e riprovare con infinito piacere! Un fiume di antipasti….bruschetta strepitosa!!!!!

26/05/2025: I had been many times at the Cavaddari in the past during my visits to Sicily. This one was disappointing. Pasta overcooked and with no taste, there was too much noise, children running everywhere like in a kindergarten. They have changed decoration and the place has lost its character and personality. Staff polite and service good. What a pity…
23/05/2025: The atmosphere is sufficiently acceptable, some details are missing that would have been the icing on the cake. Excellent dishes, tasty and captivating. A round of applause for the quality of the fish.

12/05/2025: Typical place created from a millstone, typical cuisine even if in the menu there is a slightly confused identity between the proposal of the day and the basic menu. Simple food without excellence of any kind and with some small preparation errors. Precise and courteous service as well as well-trained dining room staff. I was not satisfied with the quality/price ratio... three guests who took only one shared starter and three decidedly basic second courses, without a bottle of wine or dessert we spent 140 euros. A little too much to justify a zibibbo offered at the end of the meal or an entree of bread wafers. Personally I won't return, in my opinion there are much more interesting alternatives in the area
