I had dinner at Stella di Lippo and was truly impressed. The seafood menu is rich, varied, and meticulously crafted, with dishes that combine the great classics of seafood with more original and creative twists, without ever losing sight of the quality of the ingredients. The dishes arrive beautifully presented, balanced in flavor, and in appropriate portions, a sign of a kitchen that works with care and respect for the product. The service is impeccable, punctual, and professional, with courteous staff who immediately put you at ease and offer discreet and competent advice. You can sense a careful, welcoming management team that cares about the guest experience, not just the food. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed, ideal for a dinner for two or an occasion with friends. Stella di Lippo is one of those places that makes you want to return. Highly recommended.

What can I say...I always have a great time here! 1 extra star for the bathroom! We're at least 6! Elegant yet informal atmosphere! Excellent hospitality and soft music. Every detail is taken care of, from the unexpected flan to the bread. The fish is always top-notch, and the special dishes and daily specials are always unexpected! Don't expect a trattoria where they go for quantity; here, everything you pay is worth it! The place is small, so it's normal for there to be a lot of noise if you come on a busy day with a table for 20, but that happens everywhere... book to be safe. Compliments to the owners.

Everything was meticulously maintained, from the ambiance and service to the freshness and quality of the food. It has become one of our go-to places for good seafood in Bologna. The price is reasonable for the quality of the food.

Few words to describe this place. The owner is very kind, the service is impeccable, and the food... Something simple, unique and refined that you can't find everywhere. A treat for the palate. Try it and believe it. Come on, get a move on and go!

We stopped for some lunch after reading the reviews and had a great time. We had the spaghetti with seafood and the classic bolognese. A wonderful ricotta and broccoli flan was also served as a light appetiser. Everything was delicious! The service/owners are great too. We would definitely go back if we’re anywhere near the area again. Highly recommend

19/10/2025: One of the best gelato shops in the city: a wide variety of unique and original flavors, delicate yet flavorful gelato. I especially recommend the Optimus flavor. The mascarpone is a must. If you want authentic gelato, light yet flavorful, this is the place for you!

17/11/2025: So, it's a busy place, given the comings and goings of people for lunch on the weekend, but overall it's still nice and clean. The food is good or average for the location and the quality of the area, with seasonal produce. Service is quick, but given the influx of people, there's nothing to complain about. The girls are friendly and courteous, and the owner is very empathetic. Our only complaint about lunch was the waiter (the only man in the dining room), who was overly intrusive in trying to tell me what to do or not to do with my growing dog. He used a loud voice and was impetuous, not suitable for those looking to enjoy a quiet lunch away from the city, especially when we're spending €50 each. That said, it's fine for a lunch out of town, but given this unpleasant incident, I don't think I'd return.
16/11/2025: Osteria della Rocca is TOP! The kitchen has very long opening hours, and that alone is a good starting point. 😊 We arrived at 2:00 PM, were greeted with a smile, and in no time at all we had our table, which was cleaned with almost obsessive care (another welcome but not a given). We ordered, and the dishes were excellent and served promptly. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes and prices. The staff is fast, courteous, friendly, and professional. The restaurant, although busy at all hours, is well-kept and very clean. It's about a 10-minute drive from Rocchetta Mattei and is definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.
