We ate very well, very nice location

I'm reviewing the restaurant: On a hot Sunday, I was out hunting for photos in the Upper Marche region, at the foot of Mount Catria, near Chiaserna and Cantiano. The theme here is horses and meat, so the view of the wooden chalet took me back to the Alps. I liked it, so I went in. If the ambiance reminded me of the Tyrol, the welcome and courtesy of the staff made me feel at home. I browsed the menu, but the more I looked, the harder I could decide. All things I like... I decided, at the waitress's suggestion, on the trio of appetizers: tripe, coradella, and snails. I enjoyed every last bite in this order, a personal preference, but each was prepared with love, as I could smell it with every forkful. None of the three was better than the others; highly recommended. It's not convenient to be half an hour from home, but that alone is worth the trip. I skipped the first course so I had an excuse to return, and the grilled lamb arrived, tender and tasty in its simplicity, very good, and above all, plentiful. No sweets, I'm on a diet, it's funny but it's the harsh reality. Oh, luckily I heard about it afterwards... but there were also sharp edges... I predict I'll be sacrificing myself here again, very soon.

Visited for a coffee break en route. 5-star rooms given on trust. Clean place, pleasant structure, similar to a mountain chalet.

The pizza was pretty good, I'd been wanting to stop there for a while, and I have to say the place is really nice. It's definitely worth it.
