La Staffa In Palermo

Having tried a few local restaurants in the area, we decided to go to La Staffa which was very close to the Airbnb we were staying at, and what a great meal we had there, by far the best cuisine we had. The presentation, the flavours and the ingredients were fabulous. This restaurant delivers professional and flavoursome dishes, with good service, at good value. I Highly recommend La Staffa, definitely the best in the area.

Delicious food: pizza and paccheri with a good bottle of red wine. Inexpensive with attentive service. Located on a street.

Excellent pizza on the go without long waits.

Very honorable service and not that slow. The seafood and pesto pasta is excellent! We had a plane to catch behind and it was stress-free.

A place with attention to every detail, not to mention the exquisite appetizers, in particular the old woman's face (sfincione), then the pizza really well made with an excellent light dough. Very active and present staff in the room.

We were a group of 21 people, and after a fairly long wait, of which we had been warned, the pizzas were plentiful and excellent! I would definitely recommend it for smaller groups.

Someone local referred us to La Staffa, it was nearby our hotel Villa Igiea. We were very cautious going because some of the other restaurants we had tried in Palermo were okay but not good enough for me to write a review as soon as I got back to our hotel room. This is a family run italian/Sicilian eatery and over the course of the evening we got to meet a few of them. They were very understanding of our lack of Italian speaking and worked with us. Glad they were so patient and cordial because it was a great dining experience. The food was fantastic. The service was fantastic. We left the restaurant saying we need to tell more people about this eatery. It was a great evening! It's not fancy, it's not located in a hot tourist area. But it is simple, clean, spacious and has a great menu. We will be back!
