My family and I tried everything from appetizers to desserts and pizza, all very good and well-prepared. The bread was also very good. If I had to find a negative, perhaps the desserts... although they were more than adequate. Nothing to complain about the service; Fabio was very kind, helpful, and discreet at the same time.

La Stadera is truly a little gem in San Salvario; one of the few restaurants I know that still embraces concepts like seasonality, wine research, and old-fashioned attentive service. Water is served, not just poured; the waiters can explain the wines as well as list them, and depending on the season, the dishes always feature seasonal vegetables (always amazing). This last visit began with a waltz of mushrooms, both fried and on tartare (very tender), followed by a pan-fried tuna and exceptional caponata, and an excellent pizza. A small note also goes to the desserts, which are strictly homemade and truly special, especially the tarte tatin (the best I've ever had). A final note goes to the owners, who have been incredibly sweet and warm ever since we've been frequenting the restaurant, and the waiters, who for countless reasons, including their superb preparation, have both remained dear to my heart.

We felt particularly comfortable in this restaurant. The staff was excellent, and the dishes we tried were high-quality. The atmosphere appears a little dated, but it's welcoming. The prices are absolutely reasonable for what we ordered.

But it was really good... I was a little skeptical at first, but on the contrary, we were welcomed with professionalism and kindness, and the food was simply fantastic. It will be a pleasure to return.

The pizza was a perfect blend of tomato and cheese, which I really liked. Be aware that there is a considerable coverto (seat charge) on Saturday afternoons, which for some reason wasn't charged last time. The fluffy dessert (I don't know what it was) was also very tasty. The white wine was very cheap and delicious.

The best place we ate during our vacation. The absolute best pizzas I have ever tasted. We ate there twice and were greeted with fantastic service and delicious food both times. They are both incredibly friendly and really fast and you get extremely much quality for your money. Compared to many other places in the city, they are relatively good at English, so there is no big language barrier. HIGHLY recommended!

Frequentiamo La Stadera da tempo, ed è sempre un piacere tornare. Il servizio è impeccabile e il personale davvero straordinario: gentile, attento e sempre disponibile. Un ringraziamento speciale va a Rosa, la proprietaria, che con la sua simpatia e cordialità riesce sempre a farci sentire come a casa. Un episodio in particolare ci ha colpiti: la domenica della festa della mamma eravamo a pranzo e, purtroppo, c’era un tavolo molto rumoroso accanto al nostro. Non riuscivamo nemmeno a conversare. Abbiamo chiesto gentilmente di poter essere spostati e lo staff, con estrema disponibilità e professionalità, ha subito trovato una soluzione, mortificato per l’accaduto anche se non era minimamente colpa loro. Un gesto che dimostra quanto tengano al benessere dei clienti. Siamo davvero felici di aver trovato un posto così accogliente, dove il buon cibo si sposa con l’ospitalità e la gentilezza. Assolutamente consigliato!
