A real discovery! We spent two wonderful evenings. The welcome was warm and the service impeccable, always with a smile, by Maurizio Giuliana, the other lady (who didn't tell us her name but has an 18-year-old son), and the truly expert chef. Speaking of the food: everything was excellent, from appetizers to dessert. In particular, the Florentine steak is unforgettable. You can see the passion in every detail. This is maybe even the best restaurant i have ever been to. Quality is 10/10, food + desert the best around Florence. Truffle pasta, steak, peach desert and semifreddo have really been amazing and i really can't recommend this place enough. Super nice staff, location, vibe + you can buy really good wine for a great price. We will br bqck for sure 😍😍😍😍

My husband and I just had the amazing pleasure of getting married at Castello del Trebbio with our wedding dinner at La Sosta del Gusto. Maurizio, the restaurant manager, is such a kind soul. Giuliana is a legend with the best energy. Sabrina was a delight. And the rest of their staff was a blessing. I looked forward to seeing them so much each day, and am so appreciative of the service that they provided. It was truly best in class. From the moment we met them during our trial, we were taken care of. In fact, Guiliana even helped entertain our niece so that my sister and her husband could enjoy their trial meal as well. The food during the weekend was impeccable – even better than I could have expected, from start to finish. The ingredients were fresh and the presentation was elegant. I cannot compliment this team enough for their attention to detail and for truly helping make this weekend the most special experience for everyone. Again, if you are even reading reviews for this venue, you’ve found it. I will never forget the experience we had, but maybe more special to me are the people who helped bring it to life. There are restaurants, osterias, trattorias... and then there are fabulous places like this! Top-notch food and service, combined with a breathtaking view in a fairytale setting. The Trebbio Castle surrounding the restaurant area is pure magic. We stopped for lunch on Ferragosto, and Maurizio and his staff welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home. Wide selection of quality wines produced by them. I hope to return soon for dinner, perhaps during the grape harvest season. Fair prices.

My friend and I absolutely loved dining at this restaurant! The view is stunning and the staff is very kind. The prices are very decent in our opinion. I had the pasta with wild boar ragu, which was the best pasta I've had in Italy. We would definitely come back!

A nice surprise, not only a truly beautiful place like some "foreign" resorts but also an unglamorous management and a cuisine that is essential but convincing in every aspect, accompanied by a wide selection of wines produced by the family company.

Amazing restaurant in an incredible location. Had dinner on the terrace in the evening - the ambience was magical. The food was also exceptional and the service was impeccable. Be sure to make a reservation - when you book a table it is yours for the entire evening - no rushing to finish - you just enjoy the great food. Make sure to enjoy one of the Castellano de Trebbio wines from their wineries. The Chiantis are excellent. We’ll definitely be back - very memorable evening.

Very friendly and welcoming service, who welcomed us warmly without a reservation. Great view and an authentic restaurant with a lovely atmosphere (and a 5-star hotel attached). Super delicious food (burrata as a starter, meat and pasta with truffle as a main course), delicious red wine, and an excellent dessert (cheesecake).

Super leckeres Essen (Burrata als Vorspeise, Fleisch und Nudeln mit Trüffel als Hauptgang), köstlicher Rotwein und ausgezeichnetem Dessert (Cheesecake).
