A good Neapolitan-style pizzeria (it's a bit close) in Merano. In my opinion, the pizza here is the best in the area, as they use thin, crispy pizza. Here, we already have a different, lighter dough that's a bit closer to Neapolitan. Nice place, service a bit slow. The average pizza costs €15, which isn't cheap. But let's just say we're getting the Lovation.

Authentic Neapolitan pizza (they're AVPN accredited), many flavors to choose from, prices in line with the area. There was only one croquette (the quantity isn't listed on the menu) and the gratin potatoes were bland.

We had a casual dinner with pizza and beer. Bufalina and Capricciosa BBQ. Excellent quality ingredients and careful and precise cooking in an open wood-fired oven. The attentive and courteous staff, led by the enthusiastic Dalila, were attentive. The atmosphere was a bit too casual, but decidedly tidy, clean, and quiet. Recommended.

La Smorfia Merano is a fantastic restaurant. With its modern decor and creative menu, it was a highlight for me twice during my vacation in the area. I found a recommendation for it on a Pinterest blog and can only agree that you get your money's worth here at a reasonable price.

Lercheralm Oberwielenbach

01/09/2025: After a nice walk on a slight uphill slope (except for the first 100 meters) we reach this typical local mountain hut. We were welcomed with a big smile by the girl working at the tables. We had a very good lunch and we feel like recommending this place.
26/08/2025: It's a must-see! A truly pleasant place. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The people who run the mountain hut are very efficient, friendly, and welcoming, perfectly in keeping with the beauty of the place.
