La Smorfia In Merano

Probably those who haven't eaten well here have the 104, no offense but there is no comparison with anyone in the area and in the region, keep it up, Top pizzeria for years! Compliments.

I have always been a great admirer of La Smorfia, as well as a regular visitor. I have always appreciated the authenticity of their pizza, which in the past represented a real corner of Naples in the heart of Merano. The quality of the ingredients, the soft and honeycomb dough, the well-pronounced crust and the perfect cooking were the distinctive features that made this pizzeria special and different from the others. However, I'm sorry to say, but something has changed lately. Pizza has lost that true identity that distinguished it: the crust is no longer what it once was, the lightness of the dough seems to have disappeared, and overall the flavor is flat, lacking that characteristic explosion of flavor that makes true Neapolitan pizza unique. This evening, unfortunately, my experience was further marked by an unpleasant episode: I found a hair of beard in my pizza. The staff, with correctness, immediately apologized and offered to do it again, as well as not making me pay for it. I appreciated the gesture, but I preferred not to take another one. My wife, who prefers thinner and less "true" pizzas, nevertheless completed dinner without problems. I write this review not to discredit a place that I have always supported and loved, but as a stimulus to review the route and return to the excellence of the past. I really hope to be able to go back to enjoying that pizza that made me fall in love with this place, with the same passion and attention to detail that made it a point of reference for lovers of true Neapolitan pizza.

Locale moderno, pizza veramente buona

Prices just above average if you don't choose a "special" pizza, limited choice of beers. Mozzarella a little too compact and not stringy. Loud music.

We returned after a few years and found the quality we remembered. The range of pizzas is not very wide but they are all delicious. The staff offers a good welcome and friendly service. The only aspect that lost a star is the orientation of the tables. We ate all evening looking frontally at the very close next table and all feeling uncomfortable. It felt like we were sitting together. However, it can easily be improved.

In the two days in Merano, we had dinner two nights in a row because we wanted to try almost all the pizzas, great food, friendly staff, wide range of beers, the smorfietta is my favorite and bitters, they also have the Amaro Lucano!!

The pizza is very good, but it's almost crazy that it's not possible to order a small pizza, only large ones.

I recently visited the La Smorfia pizzeria and I can say that the experience was mostly positive. The service was exceptional: the waiters were helpful and professional, ready to satisfy every request with a smile. However, I have to point out a small inconvenience regarding the pizza. Even though I specified that I wanted it well done, it arrived a little anemic. This compromised my final opinion a bit. In any case, I will definitely come back to give it another chance, hoping for a perfect pizza!

Excellent pizzeria. Very good pizza, the only flaw is the slightly long waiting times. I strongly recommend booking.
