La Siciliana In Cefalù

We had dinner on a Monday and it was one of the few restaurants open that day. Francesca and Mauro (her father) were very kind and attentive with us. We ordered fish and the typical pasta dish from Céfalu (with eggplant and ragú). Both dishes were delicious. Totally recommend the place.

Unfortunately, many restaurants in Cefalu were closed on December 9th, 2024 and last but not least we went to “La Siciliana”. The padrone and two waiters stood at the front door, covered up with scarves, waiting for guests the whole time. Patio chair ambience. We can highly recommend the bottle of Nero d'Avola Patri, simply delicious. Bruschettes were dismal with older rocket, the orata alla griglia was tasteless, no herbs, no garlic and salt was also missing. My lamb chops were so strangely cut and grilled in a twisted manner, you had the feeling that the lamb wanted to escape again. The Verdure Alla griglia was good, only the skin of the pepper was badly burnt. They should have taken them off. I won't mention the Semifreddo dessert here. I didn't actually want to comment but a meal for 96.50 was worth mentioning.

I found this restaurant by chance and ate the seafood risotto with the pistachio cake for dessert. It was excellent. I recommend without hesitation

We had dinner here once, the food did not impress us. The service was fine. The garden area is cozy, perhaps the only attraction of the place. It must be pleasant to sit there on summer evenings.

All 5 stars! I don't think I've ever eaten better lasagna. Full of tomato sauce and delicious meat. The service was very nice and helpful. Eating in the garden under the orange trees also has its own atmosphere. I recommend!
