A truly wonderful memory of Palermo is tied to Pasticceria Salvo Albicocco, a true treasure discovered thanks to a dear friend. It was impossible not to start with the arancina: a perfect sphere of saffron rice and provola, perfectly golden, fragrant, and generous, perfect for sharing. A true delight. Next came the obligatory fried irises, then a tartlet and a selection of pastries that betrayed the craftsmanship of true professionals. To finish, a melon jelly, particularly raved about by my companion, made the finale simply spectacular.

A highly renowned pastry shop in Palermo, they've also done a great job creating an entire pastry shop dedicated to celiac disease. We were able to purchase some nice-looking and delicious single-serving treats. It was a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and very quick to explain the products. They also have gluten-free and lactose-free options. Highly recommended.

Always a pleasure to come here for a short break or meating up with friends! Coffee is excellent, food delicious and all the sweets just a dream. Reasonable prices, friendly staff and enough seats & tables - what else can you ask for? We always have a great time here!

Maximum courtesy and professionalism

Entering Salvo Albicocco on Viale Regione Siciliana, you immediately sense an elegant, bright atmosphere, meticulously crafted down to the smallest details. The service at the counter and in the dining room is impeccable: the staff welcomes you with a smile, offers expert advice, and is fast yet attentive. I started with a soft, artisanal croissant, well-leavened, topped with a delicate, perfectly flavored cream that melted in my mouth. The cappuccino, served with just the right amount of foam, was just the right amount of piping hot. Next, I ordered a single-serving cake, exquisitely executed, with a perfect balance of sweet and fresh, and a lemon granita, well-balanced and not overly sugary. The staff was present throughout the entire experience without being intrusive: they checked that nothing was missing, quickly replaced worn dishes, and politely inquired if everything was okay. The price, while not low, also seemed reasonable for the quality offered and the refined setting. As I left, they greeted me warmly, leaving me with the feeling of having had an experience far beyond the ordinary. In short: I recommend it without hesitation.

The bar is very nice, but the products sometimes don't live up to the standards of the establishment. The lackluster customer service and the courtesy of both the staff and the cashier could be improved. Prices are well above average.

The rotisserie is very good, the pastry shop is also good, but when I went there there wasn't much choice.
