A family-run restaurant in Orsigna, Pistoia, nestled in ancient chestnut woods. The cuisine is traditional, with delicious dishes made with quality ingredients (excellent vegetarian options are available during the Christmas holidays) in a beautiful setting with a large, welcoming fireplace.
I recommend it to anyone who loves good food and a relaxing day immersed in nature in the beautiful Orsigna Valley, a charming village in the Pistoia mountains.
Last but not least, it offers excellent value for money.

La Selva is a small refuge for the soul. The room is cozy, simple, and clean, and the silence that envelops it opens up to a panorama that offers peace and respite.
The cuisine has no need for special effects: it is authentic, good, and sincere, typical of the mountains, designed to nourish the body and reconcile the spirit. Each dish has the flavor of authenticity, and the atmosphere invites you to slow down, reflect, and rediscover an intimate dialogue with nature and with yourself.

Questo posto è perfetto per una fuga rilassante dalla città. E' immerso in un incantevole silenzio in simbiosi con la natura che lo circonda. Camera semplice e comoda, massima pulizia, cibo ottimo e abbondante sia a colazione che a cena. Personale accogliente, familiare, massima cortesia. Prezzi modici. Posso con certezza affermare che l'unica stella che hanno è assolutamente splendente!!

Excellent rooms with a lovely lavender scent, a delightful garden overlooking the mountains where you can eat and relax.
Everything was pleasant and the prices were excellent.

The tortelli with ragù and tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms were delicious.
The tagliatelle was soft even when cooked well.
I didn't like the cheesecake they sell, though.
It's not a cake like cheesecakes usually are, but individual portions. It's a shame the white cream (a creamy mixture) tasted like a Cameo sachet from the '80s.
I don't recommend it; it ruins the end of the meal.
A homemade cake is always better.
