Went for a short vacation in Tuscany, I ask the owner of the B&B for advice on where to eat a good Florentine steak near Santa Fiora. They recommend La Scottiglia. So I call, book and go. I have never made a better decision. They offer me 3 cuts, 1.4 kg 1.6 kg or 1.8 kg. The one in the photo is 1.8 kg. It melted in the mouth. Meat from their farm. 6 euros per 100 grams. Very honest price. Highly recommended.

Dopo tanti anni sono tornato in questo ristorante e l'ho fatto nei mesi di agosto e dicembre di questo anno.
Ho trovato un locale cambiato sia nell'aspetto che nella cucina, fondata sempre sulla tradizione ma con spiccate rivisitazioni. Sono stato bene in entrambe le occasioni ma a dover scegliere voto per il pranzo fatto a dicembre in ragione dei piatti proposti.
Dopo un piatto di benvenuto (spuma di ricotta e funghi porcini condita con olio nuovo e prezzemolo) abbiamo scelto gli antipasti (mozzarella incartata e sformato di stagione), i primi (raviovi e pici con pesto di cavolo nero e ragù bianco di maiale toscano) e chiuso con il dolce.
Tutto ottimo, compreso il vino al calice (Bakkanali rosso), la cucina è fantastica.

Fantastic dinner: fabulous sliced mushrooms, fried potatoes so many and so good that we took them away (and they were fabulous the next day too), fried mushrooms (even the ones that were so many and good enough to take away), as well as egg ravioli absolutely unique.
1 sweet, 1 bitter, 1 bottle of organic Montecucco for €115.

We have been to the restaurant more than once and it is always a pleasure!
Menu with homemade dishes but you can also find particular and refined dishes (with local and seasonal ingredients!!).
Friendly and helpful staff, welcoming environment.

Beh tra spendere molto e rimanere con la fame abbiamo optato questa volta per questo locale sempre a seggiano con ottimi piatti,vista camino, cortesia e prezzi giusti.
