Beautiful, quiet place with well-arranged tables.
The owner is discreet, kind, and professional.
The menu is well-stocked but not overwhelming (a sign of freshness).
The fried mushrooms are phenomenal, and the Florentine steak is excellent, cooked perfectly (rare), with flavorful meat and perfect taste and texture.
The wine is excellent: Montecucco Le Calle Poggio d'Oro (a pure Sangiovese).
I will definitely be back.

We tried this local restaurant and were more than impressed with the food. The food was truly a 10/10. Fresh homemade pasta, you could taste it. The service was beyond reproach; very friendly, with a smile, and attentive. We were thrilled with the Tuscan cuisine.

Two years ago, I had just met the woman who’s now my wife. On our first trip together driving aimlessly through Italy we left a fancy 5-star hotel with no plan and no place to stay. Then we spotted La Scottiglia glowing by the roadside like fate itself.
I walked in asking if they have a room?
“Of course,” they said, probably in Italian with a warm smile.
The room? Simple yet perfect.
The food? Absolutely unforgettable.
The view? Straight out of a dream.
But the real magic? The people. Warm, welcoming, and full of heart.
We found it again on Google Maps today while reminiscing. This little place is a core memory.
We’ll be back one day. Until then—grazie to the staff, and belly rubs to Django.

One of our favorite places, with a professional yet sincere welcome and impeccable rooms. You must stop for lunch or dinner to enjoy refined, yet traditional, cuisine. The view is breathtaking. Tuscany in a blend of aromas, flavors, and colors... we'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

Sono stata a cena in questo ristorante. É stata una bellissima esperienza a partire dall’accoglienza in sala. Ci hanno accolto con un piccolo assaggio gratuito di una mousse con ricotta e per il mio ragazzo che non può mangiare formaggi una bruschetta con olio locale. Abbiamo poi ordinato una tagliata e dei ravioli. Servizio rapido e prezzi nella media. Infine abbiamo ordinato una mille foglie che era squisita. Consiglio vivamente! La persona che gestisce la sala é veramente a modo e mette le persone a proprio agio!
