We had excellent lunch and dinner over the course of a week. We weren't staying at the hotel. The restaurant is definitely one of the best in the area.

Two years ago, I had just met the woman who’s now my wife. On our first trip together driving aimlessly through Italy we left a fancy 5-star hotel with no plan and no place to stay. Then we spotted La Scottiglia glowing by the roadside like fate itself. I walked in asking if they have a room? “Of course,” they said, probably in Italian with a warm smile. The room? Simple yet perfect. The food? Absolutely unforgettable. The view? Straight out of a dream. But the real magic? The people. Warm, welcoming, and full of heart. We found it again on Google Maps today while reminiscing. This little place is a core memory. We’ll be back one day. Until then—grazie to the staff, and belly rubs to Django.

One of our favorite places, with a professional yet sincere welcome and impeccable rooms. You must stop for lunch or dinner to enjoy refined, yet traditional, cuisine. The view is breathtaking. Tuscany in a blend of aromas, flavors, and colors... we'll definitely be back. Keep up the good work!

Excellent and professional welcome, you eat and sleep very well

We went to the restaurant and had lunch outside surrounded by greenery. The food was excellent, and the service was attentive and friendly. Don't miss the parmigiana, the "abbracchio," and the bread.

The food was quite tasty. A little more expensive than nearby restaurants. Service was friendly. A very nice view from the terrace. There are a few vegetarian options. Dogs are allowed.

The owner's welcome was exquisite. The restaurant is exceptional, typical cuisine with truly refined care. A wine list worthy of Tuscany and the owner's sommelier expertise completes everything. Brand new rooms. A structure that can be a base for touring nearby places, but also a place to spend relaxing days without ever leaving.

Enchanting location immersed in the greenery of the Maremma, cared for in the smallest details and managed with passion, probably family-run. Tables set up under a truly suggestive flowered pergola, perfect for enjoying the tranquility of the place; inside, a spectacular view of the Tuscan hills. Clean rooms, tidy bathroom, convenient parking at the entrance. The menu lives up to the setting: excellent appetizers, including a delicate chopped beef with mustard cream and a surprising liver paté on croutons. Parmigiana worthy of applause. Spectacular first courses: tagliolini with porcini mushrooms, truffle and parsley, balanced and full of flavor; ravioli with ragù equally appreciated. Well-made desserts, in particular the millefoglie. Excellent local wines tasted and closing with coffee. Medium-high bill, but absolutely justified by the quality of the experience. To return to relax, eat well and breathe the real Maremma.

Sono stata a cena in questo ristorante. É stata una bellissima esperienza a partire dall’accoglienza in sala. Ci hanno accolto con un piccolo assaggio gratuito di una mousse con ricotta e per il mio ragazzo che non può mangiare formaggi una bruschetta con olio locale. Abbiamo poi ordinato una tagliata e dei ravioli. Servizio rapido e prezzi nella media. Infine abbiamo ordinato una mille foglie che era squisita. Consiglio vivamente! La persona che gestisce la sala é veramente a modo e mette le persone a proprio agio!

Per un pranzo della domenica abbiamo prenotato in questo delizioso ristorante/albergo situato sulle colline di Seggiano. Ottimo cibo di primissima qualità. Merita molto più di cinque stelle
