Wonderful head waitress is extremely attentive. Wonderful oxtail and supplì and artichoke bruschetta appetizer. The rest of Rome food seems tired but La Scaletta finally meets and exceeds expectations!

Exceeded All Expectations
My go-to rule is to avoid restaurants in the city center, but I decided to give this one a try. My skepticism quickly vanished. The food was delicious, with a good selection for different tastes. The service was impeccable – the waiter was polite, cheerful, and offered great recommendations. It's a rare find in a touristy area and proof that good restaurants can exist there.

Carbonara was probably the best I’ve had so far, pizza was also better than the more expensive restaurant we went to last night - good prices and great food!

We found this restaurant while strolling near Piazza Navona. The pizza and supplì were amazing. Next time, we'll try the pasta. The lovely, kind guys, Omi and Mirko, made us feel right at home! We'll see you again soon, and keep up the good work!

We wandered past and were lured in to eat. We were definitely upsold on our drinks but were very happy with the choices presented and the options available. We had a bruschetta pomodoro for entrees and lasagne and spaghetti with chicken/tomatoes. Food was fresh and beautiful. Lasagne was cheesier than I was expecting but it was really nice. Probably could have given 5 stars if they had given bread at start with the oil and balsamic put on the table but honestly we didn't need it. And nobody came back to check if we were happy or if we wanted anything....but overall beautiful and fresh and a really nice meal!

The food in the restaurant was quite tasty. For a family of four, dinner cost us €130. Be careful: the interest is included in the price of the dishes. Overall, a pretty good atmospheric cafe.
We were served by the waiter John and we were completely satisfied. At first, they brought us the wrong order, but they immediately changed everything.
I can recommend visiting.
