Very nice service, delicious food, nice ambience at moderate prices. We were here for the second time today and were welcomed like regular guests. We'll be back soon :-)
A year is over...and we are back. We were recognized and welcomed very warmly. The food was again fantastic, the mixed bruschetta is particularly recommended. As long as we come to Rome, this will remain our first port of call. The very nice and charming waiter even made me fresh lemonade, even though it wasn't actually on the menu

We came back here after a year and are thrilled again. Great service and great food. Affordable and definitely not a tourist trap. The waiter even speaks German. So warm. There were four of us and he recognized us after a year. A little note: there are two different restaurants called “La Scaletta”. When you rate, please keep this in mind. This place is called “La Scaletta Degli Artisti”

We were there several times on a trip to Rome and feel at home, the service is top and it tastes very good and even after the visit over a year later we were recognized and the food and service are still highly recommended

Was a super nice restaurant. 10 meters from Plaza Navona and surprisingly little hustle and bustle. The only thing that was annoying was that as soon as you looked at the map outside you were spoken to, but that's basically how it is in Rome.
Highly recommended.

Pranzato nei pressi di piazza Navona in questo ristorante trovato grazie a The Fork. Personale efficiente, ambiente turistico, cibo buono! Supplì per antipasto e gricia quale portata principale… promossi! Buona anche la carbonara che ho assaggiato. Con acqua e grazie allo sconto del 20% di The Fork si sono pagati solo 12 euro a testa!

Having just eaten at La Scaletta , I must say it has to be the best restaurant in Rome. The service from the very very very attentive staff make this a memorable dining experience. From deciding to dine here to getting seated, served with drinks , to getting suggestions on the amazing food was seamless from our maitre de , thank you. The food was exceptional, I had a delicious carbonara and my wife had 3 different pasta dishes , all were fantastico. I would highly recommend that when you visit Rome you decide to dine here , near to the Piazza Navona but without the inflated prices and a very memorable dining atmosphere. Grazie Mille x
