La Santeria di Mare In Roma

My favorite place in Pigneto. Tastefully decorated, always impeccable service and exceptional food! Highly recommended!!

My family and I visited yesterday. Everything we tried was delicious and we found the staff to be very kind! The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was calm and intimate, which we loved. So far, this has been our favorite meal in Rome!

Ero molto incuriosita dal locale, quasi fuori dallo stile del quartiere Pigneto. Una volta all'interno, l'arredamento quasi vecchio stampo, ma intimo ti catapulta altrove. Il locale non troppo affollato, il servizio attento e la cura del dettaglio che si è visto nel piatto, hanno reso la cena estremamente piacevole! Consigliato!

We went there for seafood. We ordered fish carpaccio, Sardinian fregola with seafood, assorted squid, shrimp and fish fillet, and Catalan cream for dessert. The carpaccio was white fish, not bad, but to be honest, not wow 5/10. Fregola was delicious! Inside there were squid rings, octopus, only one shrimp unfortunately, mussels, and the sauce itself was delicious. The assortment was also average; the portion seemed to me to be too small. I didn’t like the octopus, it was hard to chew and wasn’t particularly tasty, the shrimp and fillet were normal. For a side dish, I also ordered baked potatoes, and they were very tasty! We also took oysters, which seemed normal, we don’t know much about it. The place itself is very nice and beautiful, the staff is very nice! Later we ordered Creme Catalan for dessert, which is basically just creme brulee, and since it was my birthday, the waiter brought it out for me with a candle, which was very nice of them. In general, I’m not delighted with the food, it’s okay, but I can’t say it’s really tasty, to be honest. It seemed to me that the food was somewhat bland.

Enthusiastic about La Santeria. Gioia is a hostess who welcomes and pampers you in a comfortable and familiar environment. The dishes offered are excellent. The ideal place where I would take someone to make a "good impression"

Splendid place in a neighborhood of Rome that I didn't know. The restaurant is well furnished with a unique style, the dishes delicious. And above all, what matters most to me, they were super welcoming to me and my children. The wine that the waiter recommended to us was really good, he was able to tell us what was right for us. Very honest prices too, especially with regard to small children! ❤️

I had dinner at Santeria Trattoria Consapevole, intrigued by the proposal and the atmosphere of the place, which proved to be very pleasant: well-kept, welcoming and with a beautiful identity. The raw fish was undoubtedly the most interesting dish of the evening, well presented and of good quality. Overall, however, the experience did not leave me with a real "wow" effect: the cuisine is valid but perhaps with some more margin to amaze or excite. A place that still deserves attention for those looking for a quiet environment and conscious cuisine, with good ideas. Good service and extensive wine list

Locale molto curato, atmosfera un po' retrò molto piacevole. Ottimo il carpaccio di pesce e i gyoza di gamberi, così come le polpette di baccalà. Molto buoni anche i primi, in particolare l'amatriciana di mare. Servizio a dir poco eccellente, i due ragazzi che servono ai tavoli sono la vera anima del locale, servono in modo professionale ma mai troppo distaccato, attenti ad ogni minima esigenza della clientela, sono stati in grado fin da subito di farci sentire a casa: dopo i primi cinque minuti sembra di frequentare questo ristorante da anni. Veramente un posto dove passare una piacevole serata accompagnata da un'ottima cucina ed un'atmosfera intima ma che non fa mai sentire a disagio. Promosso a pieni voti!
