Fabulous place Super good food Highly recommended

My visit to La Ruota was overall decent, but not entirely memorable. The food was good, with some interesting dishes, although there was room for improvement in the attention to detail and balance of flavors. The service was one of the strong points of the experience: the staff was friendly and attentive to the customer's needs, always present but never intrusive. The overall atmosphere was pleasant, well-kept, and welcoming. However, the prices were quite high compared to the overall culinary offering. Considering the quality, quantity, and originality of the dishes, the value for money could definitely be improved. An experience that leaves mixed feelings, with positive aspects but also areas that need to be filled to truly leave a lasting impression.

Excellent food and service, beautiful views if sit outside! Have taken many friends there and all have loved it. Parking can be difficult depending on day and time, suggest go earlier and make reservation, especially on weekends or holidays.

Very mixed feelings and here is why. Great place, great service, amazing presentation and food also was NOT bad, but not great either. Allow me to explain. Starters were perfection, already fell in love. Then we come to pasta and you can feel it's all there, nothing bad, great produce used but there is no balance. Too salty, too peppery seafood pasta, too much tomato sauce and dozens of olives in fish pasta that the main star of the dish (the fish) totally disappear. Left you thinking, if it was not a tomato sauce but whole cherry tomatos, maybe i would have tasted fish... A very strange experience. We have had bad food many times and this was not the case here, but it wasn't great meal at all. Did not stay for desert. Apologies to write this, but the single oddest not bad experience in a long while. I would love to score higher but its not there.

Fine dining using local products, with very friendly service and a Michelin-starred presentation. Of course, you must try the "Tartuffo Nero" – invented in Pizzo.

…che dire… ECCELLENTE!!! Prodotti freschissimi e di qualità, ricette della tradizione(spaghetti con le alici come una volta) e con ispirazioni più moderne(seppie su crema di piselli e tonno con cipolla divini). Il ristorante è incantevole dentro (ricavato da un antico deposito con una cupola di mattoni particolarissima) e fuori(sul mare), servizio con i giusti tempi, personale attento e gentile, proprietario sorridente e disponibile. Ottima cantina. DA PROVARE E DA TORNARCI!!! Valentina

I absolutely recommend a visit to this restaurant in Marina di Pizzo. This is the second time I've eaten here. On the first one I was inside and on this last occasion I was outside. There were two of us and we ate spaghetti with anchovies, grilled calamari on pea cream and Mediterranean swordfish. Very good dishes. I found a high level of preparation and excellent raw materials. The portions were correct, almost abundant. The accompanying bread was also very good. The service, then, was quick and accurate, never intrusive. Fair prices and adequate for the quality of the menu. A note of merit also goes to the background music, always at a level that does not disturb the conversation. Parking, in the April/May period, not difficult.

Locale e cena perfetti ! Miglior cena di pesce della nostra settimana in Calabria , il locale ha una volta spettacolare in "bicchieri" di terracotta, unica mai vista. Abbiamo provato l'antipasto di pesce in 6 varianti e i secondi di Tonno alle cipolle e aranci e in granella di pistacchi. Tutto buono e alternativo. Personale discreto e preparato. Dolci e vino nella media. Da consigliare.
