The best dinner they'll ever have, and the wine exquisite.

Friendly and cosy place for dinner. Chef came out and explained the daily menu and he was super friendly. Food tasted great and was filling. It had a home made taste and feel (in a good way!). This restaurant really was amongst the better ones we ate at in comparison to other restaurants at the same price point.

Lamberto's knowledge alone is worth dining at La Posteria. The dishes are rooted in tradition, but the quality is stellar, the flavors and aromas are unparalleled, and the presentation is meticulously crafted and elegant. So don't expect anything home-style in its style or flavors. Top-quality ingredients and incredible flavors, combined with attentive service from the staff and Lamberto's friendliness. Considering the location, near Arco della Pace, the quality/price ratio is excellent. The appetizers include the best Cantabrian anchovies I've ever tasted, traditional Milanese meatballs, and a panzanella with the freshest flavors. Main courses include rabbit in oil with vegetables from heaven and veal with tuna sauce, among the best and most delicate I've ever eaten. The wine selection is excellent.

What a wonderful place . Incredible food splendid atmosphere . Great wine . We went with our kids whom left saying it was the best restaurant we had come across on our travels . Pricing was more than reasonable.We were looked after as family by the chef . Treat yourself and go .
