Restaurant in Via Regina Margherita, discovered by chance while wandering around Cagliari, but finding a place where not only did one eat very well with dishes different from the usual such as excellent grilled cod with a side of baked potatoes, but also experiencing excellent service and a elegant but above all welcoming place managed with great kindness and professionalism by Mrs. Roberta. Definitely recommended and to return to spend another pleasant evening. Appropriate expense compared to what you ate.

Excellent restaurant offering mainly fish dishes. Very freshly caught and cooked in a very tasty way. I highly recommend the spaghetti with clams and bottarga and the mussel soup. The desserts are also very good. Attentive, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere. Fair prices for the quantity and quality offered.

Great food very tasty also service is good - the typical Sardinia trattoria where flavour and style it’s 100% - the ravioli and sedea were all delicious

We ate very well, fresh and well cooked fish. Highly recommended mussel soup, delicious sea bream stew and superb seadas. Very kind staff. Very recommended place.

We found the restaurant during an early afternoon walk, which was also open. We had very attentive and fast service. Both the main course and the dessert were delicious, and the bathroom was perfectly clean.

My travel companion and I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before heading out to the beaches of Cagliari. Right near our hotel we’d seen folks enjoying meals Al fresco at a little corner spot called “La Pirata”. So we thought we’d give it a try. It was a hot summer day. We were the only ones seated for lunch under shaded cover. And a lovely breeze coming off the marina kept us comfortable and cool. We browsed the menu, but the owner and chef came out to meet us, and show their days fresh catch. A platter of gorgeous fish to choose from. We selected a large fish we could share, and off he went to grill it up. We ordered a bottle of cold white Vermentino. And soon this beautiful grilled Sea Bream came out which the chef deboned and plated for us. It was fantastic. The service was efficient, but not rushed. As we were finishing out meal several locals had now entered the restaurant for lunch. This is an established spot. It as a total delight and surprise and on of the best meals of our visit.
