During our two-week summer vacation on the beautiful island of Lipari, we enjoyed three wonderful evenings at Graziano's restaurant, El Pirata, in the picturesque old harbor. We highly recommend a visit to the restaurant. You will be pampered and enchanted by the culinary delights. The specialties here are of the highest quality and flavor, lovingly prepared. The service is very attentive and warm. They even provided me with a stool for my handbag! The surrounding scenery is uniquely beautiful and romantic. The prices are completely justified for what you get here. Thank you for this delight!

Al Pirata Restaurant confirms itself as our favorite place as well as one of the unmissable experiences to live on the island of Lipari. On the stairs that lead to the terrace directly overlooking the sea you can savor a pleasant thrill of curiosity and attraction; each step descended brings us closer to that entrance arch that almost seems like a portal where, once crossed, you will find a warm and elegant play of lights, a decor that manages to be sumptuous and sober at the same time and a myriad of happy faces starting from the staff who puts their heart into their work and rejoices in seeing the customers satisfied and ending with the customers themselves who cannot help but experience the wonderful moments that only a place like this can give. Arriving at your table you will find an evocative mis en place, accompanied by a fine and strictly Sicilian ménage set. Graziano, manager and maitre, will welcome you with sincere affection and his zealous charisma will reveal itself in the smooth, attentive, precise and warm service that will guide your stay. The cuisine is a pure expression of art, passion and selection; the refinement of the raw materials, the processing and the combinations is simply unparalleled and will inevitably lead you to delve into that experiential philosophy necessary to experience such a perfect restaurant. The presence of the chef was discreet, professional and genuine and he greeted each customer with sincere pleasure, offering a valid cue through his guide to the choice of dessert (also pure delight and experience). A refined, varied and fine selection of wine; we had the opportunity to choose a creamy and sublime grecanico from 2020 that masterfully accompanied our dinner. For us, dinner at Al Pirata is an essential destination to reach as soon as possible and as many times as possible; every evening of our stay makes us immediately think about how to reorganize all our commitments as soon as possible to have the opportunity to return again and again.
