La pineta In Arzana

Amazing lunch! I was already impressed by the description of the dishes and the friendliness of Claudio, the owner, over the phone when I booked. We arrived and opted for the tasting menus. Everything, from start to finish, was excellent and plentiful. Beautifully presented, we had the opportunity to sample many local specialties. I thank Claudio and Beatrice for allowing us to try exquisite Sardinian dishes. This is a place worth keeping in mind and definitely returning.

Ristorante Pizzeria La Pineta is located in Arzana at Vico 1, Via Don Orione 4. The restaurant, which opened in 1977, has retained its original style. The historic photographs displayed throughout the restaurant are also beautiful. For lunch, we enjoyed the typical Ogliastra cuisine, including culurgiones (a type of pasta), orrubioloso (a type of pasta), and the fantastic roast meats. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. The atmosphere was very family-friendly; don't expect a fancy restaurant, but this makes up for the genuine hospitality and informality of the place. A truly authentic place where you can savor the flavors of Sardinia. The view from the parking lot, overlooking the coast, is beautiful. Even though it was a fairly hot day, the cool air from the pine forest stretching along the mountainside added to the atmosphere. A well-deserved five stars.

Excellent lunch in a fresh and welcoming environment. Everything was wonderfully good, even the desserts, really delicious! Amaro offered by the house. The bill is compatible with the quality of the food served. I highly recommend it!!!

Modest place but with quality food and prepared with care, only for meat second courses it is advisable to book the day before as they require slow and prolonged cooking times, for this they are masters! Note of merit also for the service that was attentive and professional. For us it was a pleasure.

Typical restaurant where you can still eat typical local dishes, such as "Culurgionis", homemade.
