Recommended by acquaintances but disappointing because I thought it had mussels au gratin or similar... but NO MUSSELS HERE... we are in Taranto and there are no mussels, just dirt.

It was a pleasant surprise to have lunch at this restaurant. We were greeted by Mrs. Mimma, who reserved the most comfortable table for my disabled mother. Her kindness, courtesy, and helpfulness were top notch. The food was excellent, with generous portions. The atmosphere was refined, and the final surprise was the incredibly modest bill compared to what we ordered. We'll definitely be back. We're from Brindisi, but in this case, we'd happily take a stroll to enjoy the delicious dishes. My compliments to the owners and the chef. A 10 out of 10.

Excellent restaurant in Taranto. When we return home for vacation, we always try to make a reservation to eat here at least once. The food is always good and of high quality, and the service is impeccable.

We visited this restaurant with colleagues in December 2025. We were greeted, among other things, with delicious battered cabbage. Taranto is always full of meatballs, and here they were delicious too. The appetizers were varied and well-cooked; only the sweet and sour onion had too much vinegar. The pasta with turnips was also good and flavorful.

07/04/2026: Great place. A truly wonderful discovery. The portions were generous, especially the ingredients: scampi, shrimp, and fish (for the seafood dishes), and the meat was excellent, accompanied by the accompanying dishes. The wine recommendation was excellent: specifically, the Vermentino from the San Marzano winery, excellent. La Paranza di Sava is a true paradise for those with a sweet tooth for fresh seafood! The service was impeccable, yet courteous and cheerful, putting everyone at ease, and the staff were intelligent and brilliant; the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food never disappointing. On the extensive menu, the seafood paella is among the most popular; some of us had the seafood risotto, others the Quadratini stuffed with grouper. Everything was excellent, as were the delicious appetizers: a journey of flavors from marinated anchovies to crispy shrimp and stewed octopus. The staff, upon request, is available to recommend the best dish for individual tastes. La Paranza di Sava is a must-try for gourmets and lovers of fresh fish and Mediterranean cuisine, but the meat dishes are just as delicious. I highly recommend you don't miss the opportunity to try this restaurant! 😋 I'll definitely be back.
