A true trattoria in Bologna where I found tagliatelle with ragù just the way I like it. The tagliatelle were cooked just right, the ragù was fabulous, and the parmesan was layered to your liking. Excellent value for money. I'll definitely return again and again to try lasagna and other traditional dishes, as well as the fish dishes... It made me feel right at home... A truly satisfying experience...

After a conference and concert at the Bologna Congress Center, I skipped the old town and went to La Piccola Trattoria in a residential area. It opens at 6:30 PM, but I arrived around 6:40 PM, so there was only one other group there. I sat down and ordered Tagliatelle al Ragù and Cotoletta alla Bolognese, a feast of Bolognese local cuisine. It was delicious, but two dishes was a bit too much. I also got carried away and ordered a half-liter of red wine. I drank too much. Although it's a bit far from the old town, it's not too long if you take the bus, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced, so I highly recommend it. There was a Baggio uniform there.

29/11/2025: Every time we return, we love it more and more. From the food, which always surprises us with its flavors and attention to detail, to the staff, who transform every dinner into a special occasion. Yesterday, I walked in feeling a little down, and it cheered me up. The final treat was the biscuits for breakfast the next day. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. We'll definitely be back.
