Beautiful restaurant. It has the trattoria vibe but with the prices of a good good restaurant and for what it offers it’s quite ok. The risotto with ossobuco that I tried the meat was on the drier side and also small, the mondeghili were ok, but the only thing worth trying for me there is the cotoletta, fantastic crunch and frying (if you can put a little more side is perfect, that sauce was amazing but it is just my preference). The other appetizers are a little bit overprice for the portions

Today we spent Christmas lunch with our family for the first time in this well-known restaurant in Milan. Not a large place, but definitely well looked after. A la carte menu, not special for the occasion. Good wine selection. Overall, my personal opinion is very good, both for the quality of the food and the drinks. Quality/price ratio a bit high, but considering the day, the S.Siro area where the restaurant is located and the quality offered... it's okay.
A special mention for Mrs. Nina: top for her availability.

If you are in Milan and want to savor true Milanese cuisine in a welcoming and familiar environment, this trattoria is a must.
The kitchen is the true heart of this restaurant. We tried typical traditional Milanese dishes and were thrilled with every single course.
For the quality of the food and the hospitality received, the price was more than fair. We expected a higher bill for the quality of the food and experience we had.
We highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent dinner with typical dishes. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the dinner with colleagues was not an excellent experience.
They are all very kind and polite but the environment sacrifices the customers a lot, the tables are small and you have to play tetris to fit the courses together, furthermore on long tables like we were you are close to your neighbour.
I had to ask the staff for my orders several times because I had been "forgotten" for both the first courses and the desserts.
In my opinion, the quality/price ratio is negatively unbalanced.
I hope it was an occasionally a little critical evening considering their history.

Beautiful place with very friendly and knowledgeable staff and very good food. We took the mondeghini as a starter which was truly spectacular and the cold cuts platter was also very good. Delicious cutlet! Super recommended, I will definitely return. Reservation required as the place is quite small.

Location intima .. anche se un po’ rumorosa e strettina .. arredamento natalizio perfetto .. personale gentile e cordiale ( soprattutto
La bella signora mora..) buona carta dei vini .. buoni gli sciatt ed i taglieri .. da rivedere i tagliolini al tartufo .. ottima la cotoletta alla milanese … buoni i dolci .. quindi tutto buono e bello … ma manca quel quid per brillare !! Ritorneremo !

Cena tra colleghi in questa bellissima ed originale trattoria milanese. La sua fama la precede e la fame precedeva me! Confesso di esserci venuta principalmente per i mondeghili, volevo vedere se li facevano come la mia nonna! Ebbene ne avrei presi tre piatti. Il riso al salto fatto a regola d' arte. Le cotolette ottime i dolci pure. Servizio attento e cordiale. Unica nota negativa il locale è piccolo e quindi molto rumoroso. Nessuno è perfetto!
