We found it by chance while looking for a place to eat... nice, clean, and very good service. The lady speaks Spanish, which was a plus for us... very good food and homemade desserts. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

If you're in Milan, even for the food, then Il Piccolo Milanese is the place to be: the ossobuco with risotto Milanese is a dream come true! Be sure to order the risotto, even if meat isn't your thing! All our dishes were sensational. The lady who served us and recommended the excellent wine is the epitome of this truly wonderful, elegant, and small, fine restaurant!

When we went, it was the lunch hour. Even though it was busy, we still got a place to sit. Friendly staff and the food was really good. I'm glad we went here on our last day. It's a great way to finish off the vacation.

A small but extremely welcoming place. Excellent menu with typical Milanese dishes and more, and an excellent dessert menu as well. Superb Chianina beef tartare! Delicious tart with ice cream. I'll be back often.

The outside may be assuming but take the time to walk inside and you will not be disappointed, their service is excellent and for the non Italian speaker was exceptionally helpful but the ambience and the food are amazing, friends or family will love the place and the food

01/09/2025: Don’t go to Milan without stopping here for dinner. Authentic pasta, amazing service, delicious recommendations for wine. I’ll be back!
23/08/2025: Food was very good traditional Italian with reasonable choice, waiting staff very quick and efficient (and speak excellent English). Prices not too bad considering it's in the shadow of the Duomo. However be careful of the wine prices, they are very expensive and start at €30 .

14/06/2025: We popped in here for drinks whilst waiting for our number 12 tram (tram stop was opposite). Nice atmosphere & drinks were reasonably priced.
10/06/2025: Had a truly exquisite meal here - wiped my plate CLEAN as you’ll see. Wanted to try the traditional Milanese Osso Buco with saffron risotto and it was delicious. Service was fast and said staff was pleasant and helpful. This spot is just slightly off the beaten path but still very close to the main Duomo do Milano piazza. Mid-scale restaurant and the price reflects that, but worth it.
