As a tourist at the port of Trani, you feel a bit like the fish sold by the fishing trawlers at the harbor next to the numerous restaurants. Each restaurant uses different tactics to attract and exploit tourists. That was our feeling after a trip throughout southern Italy. At Osteria la Perla, too, the chef's main concern was attracting new customers. Unpleasant.
The food was good, the price was okay. Nice ambiance. What more could you want? We've experienced restaurants in Calabria where the guest was still (emotionally) the priority. Osteria la Perla is perhaps one of the better of the many rip-off restaurants in Trani. Feel comfortable there and enjoy the beautiful view, and maybe it'll be okay after all.

Als je in Trani bent of er gewoon maar voorbij komt, ga hier zeker lunchen.
Onwaarschijnlijk verse vis (de visverkopers staan tegenover op de kade), lekker lekker eten, echt niet te versmaden.

Hello, we were looking for a non-touristy place to be welcomed as Italian gastronomy should be
: we chose to take a seafood antipasta platter for three people, we had to negotiate who was going to take what because it didn’t have three oysters or three prawns,…. Quite poor also and very little supplied as in the photo above quite disappointing for a gastronomic review for the dishes we liked my without more my risotto was very less supplied than others that I have seen pass quite incomprehensible and disappointing for the price which is quite substantial either it does not bother me to put the price at least to be at the same level as everyone else I love to eat and discover share

Mother's Day was a little sad in a beautiful place.
Good morning, we were looking for a non-touristy place where we would be welcomed as it should be in terms of gastronomy: we chose to take a plate of seafood appetizers for three people, but we had to negotiate who would take what because there were not three oysters or three shrimps... Rather poor and very little supplied, as you can also see from the photo above, rather disappointing for a gastronomic review.
As for the dishes, we liked them but did not excite us. My risotto was much less plentiful than others I've seen pass by, which is quite incomprehensible and disappointing considering the price, which is quite high. I don't mind paying, but at least I would like to be treated at the same level as others.
I love to eat, discover and share my experiences, but my Mother's Day was a bit tristanzual in a place that, by the way, is really magnificent.

With courtesy and excellent cuisine together with the wonderful service staff, this location presents itself... if you visit Trani for lunch you cannot miss the tasting of 5-star seafood specialties. thanks to everyone

We took the raw fish and the tuna tartare which I highly recommend because it was tasty and plentiful! Prawns in kataifi and typical and good spaghetti with sea urchin! Classic grilled second course, good and seared tuna which was served with rocket and parmesan, unusual but good! Must try!

We had lunch looking at the reviews, nothing to say about the location directly at the marina or the very kind and helpful staff. But the only flaw, perhaps the most important for a restaurant where you go purely to eat, the dishes were without flavour, in fact something perhaps too salty.
