La Perla Blu In

The restaurant has a beautiful view of the port of Maddalena and the island across the way. The food was very good. Mixed salad was huge, Caprese salad was large and awesome. The truffle cream spaghetti was amazing. And the eggplant Parmesan was fantastic. They have a very large wine list. We chose a mid-priced bottle of red Cannonau wine. They poured the glass, and clearly I could see the rust color right away. The nose was bad, and the taste was like vinegar. I had to sent the wine back and order a less expensive bottle which was much better. The staff didn’t seem too happy that I sent the wine back, but I wasn’t going to pay 60 euro for a wine gone bad. All the male waiters and busboys were very friendly and accommodating, but our female server was not the friendliest of all. The prices are high, but these tourist places are only open 5-6 months of the year, so I guess you cannot blame them. Overall, not too bad. Would come again for the food and the great view. Hopefully they can improve the friendliness of some of the staff.

Siamo tornati, essendoci passati due anni fa , in vacanza, e a parte il posto che si presenta sempre bene, e il personale sempre gentile siamo rimasti delusi dall'aumento sconsiderato dei prezzi . Naturalmente in proporzione alla quantità e alla qualità.. per mio giudizio personale, aver speso 28 euro per uno spaghetto alle vongole è stata una esagerazione . Si e no forse vi era 80 gr di pasta e le vongole potevano essere tranquillamente surgelate, visto il poco sapore ... deluso .. le tre stelle le do per il personale e il posto
