We visited La Pergola Rosa while we were in Turin for the weekend to watch the rugby with our large group. The restaurant delivered solid food and a welcoming atmosphere. What threw us off, though, was that full rounds of food were brought out without being ordered - not just a plate here or there, but entire courses for the whole table. We figured they wanted us to try some local Piedmont dishes in addition to what we’d already ordered, but everything ended up on the bill. Not sure if it was the language barrier, but just something to be aware of.
Otherwise, the meal was enjoyable, and the tiramisu was terrific.

The offerings are carefully curated and high-quality. The service is attentive and delicately empathetic. The portions aren't overly generous, but the quality, in my opinion, is well above average. The setting is small but well-maintained; it's a shame the bathroom is off-site. Thanks to the waiter Angelo, who shared a little of his warmth and humanity with us. And, of course, our heartfelt thanks to the chef, who gave us an unforgettable experience.

We had a wonderful meal at this charming restaurant while in Turin. The food was exceptional and they had no problem accommodating my lactose intolerance. Loved the smoked salmon and russian salad appetizer. We will be back!

The typical dishes on the tasting menu are excellent, especially the tender veal, and the desserts are also exquisite.
Chef Angelo and his staff are incredibly kind.
Congratulations, keep up the good work!

We opened the door after reading the menu without relying on outward appearances. It was a great surprise, a wonderful dinner both in terms of taste and persona.
Angelo, the owner/chef, cooks only fresh, local produce, so we trusted him.
Il vitel tonné for the starter (veal carpaccio with tuna sauce), followed by agnelotti di Borrogine with lamb ragù and lamb cutlet in padrano crosta.
For dessert, ciccolatissimo guanaja, passion fruit sorbet, and the authentic tiramisu della tradizione (the one from his childhood).
A bottle of Grignolina d'Asti red, light and fruity, impeccable.
Angelo's passionate explanations with every order. All for €93 for two.
We recommend this unusual restaurant because it harks back to another, not-so-distant era, when products were served with love and passion. WELL DONE !!!

This is such an amazing traditional and friendly restaurant. The chef prepared all the food all by himself, he is a one man show, and adapted the meals to suit preferences. The service was sooooooooo lovely. They prepared a special pasta for my 4-year-old daughter. I ordered sword fish and my husband ordered the beef fillet with wine. My aunt ordered the sphaghetti with prawns. The beef is a must try dish. The wine flavour is so rich, so special that I have never tried in my life and I came from a food paradise. We also tried the fried porcini mushrooms and caprese salad, both were intensein flabours and amazing. The entrance of the restaurant was small and might not be appealing. However, this is a restaurant you must try when you are in Turin.
