The restaurant was more than nice. I didn't like the sauce on my bruschetta with porcini mushrooms, so they replaced them, but I'd forgotten I'd ordered tagliatelle with porcini, and it was the same sauce, so... I didn't like that either. How embarrassing! And they changed that one too. I don't know of a restaurant that would have done that... Absolutely fantastic!

Completely satisfied!
We stumbled upon Trattoria La Piattino by chance. But it was a pleasant surprise. 10 overall:
Food, hospitality, wide selection, tasteful decor!
The owner and waiter were very kind, and the food was delicious. It will be our regular stop every time we come to Zafferana! ❤️

5 stars for everything!
Staff was very friendly and kind even though they were busy.
Tried their pasta and it was very delicious, fresh, and the portion was impressive.

Top trattoria, very good food, fast and friendly service, and a quiet and relaxing atmosphere.
My only complaint is the platter: perhaps too many cheeses and not enough cured meats.
But everything else was very good.

The atmosphere is like walking into your cousin's osteria. Very welcoming, and the attention to detail in describing the dishes is much appreciated. The menu features one option that's better than the next, very authentic and made with seasonal, high-quality ingredients.
