Let's start with the food. Delicious. Tradition and small but intense flashes of originality blended perfectly to create exquisite dishes that truly rival those of Michelin-starred restaurants.
Service. Don't you dare compliment the chef alone, he's unique, let's be clear! The Signora's service is as distinctive and intense as the delicious meal she delivers with her unique grace. The dynamic between the two is reminiscent of the hilarious Vianello couple. By the way, don't bother trying to make reservations—"We don't take reservations here," replies the Signora—and don't bother trying to find out when you can come back for dinner—"How would I know?! And what am I supposed to do, get the gentlemen eating to stand up and make room for you." Wonderful. For those who don't understand the Lazio humor, she's extremely kind and always available to her customers.
Atmosphere. As the name suggests, it's a small delicatessen. Very welcoming and tastefully decorated to feel like a little cottage. And that's how you feel, at home.
In short, the best lunch I've had in 2025.

Amazing tagliere, polenta & gnocchi. The restaurant is small but cosy. The owners are really kind & hard working. Recommend to come here if you really want to enjoy good food.

We loved this place. Wonderful food. Lovely service. The chef is so friendly. It felt like we were eating at our grandparents' or beloved uncles' house. I highly recommend it.

A shared appetizer of crostoni and a main dish each for two. Delicious food made even better by the convivial atmosphere created in the small dining room. The owners are incredibly kind and charming, and the price is high, but it's absolutely worth the experience. I was disappointed to read some of the negative reviews: theirs is an authentic restaurant that helps keep the beautiful village of Pienza alive. There are only two of them working there, and their passion is priceless. They then offered us cantucci with vin santo (which I usually don't like), but this time it tasted different! Their magical atmosphere is certainly to blame. Thank you, and long live you.

On Sunday in Pienza, we stopped in at this small but delightful restaurant without a reservation! The hosts welcomed us and spoiled us with their dishes, Enzo's ribollita and the platters of cured meats and cheeses, all accompanied by a good house wine. The prices were more than fair. We'll be back.

This is the best restaurant we visited in all of Tuscany! Wow, there aren't enough words to describe or convey the flavors of what we ate. We had pecorino cheese with reduced wine that was like jam, then we had pasta with truffles and gnocchi. Unfortunately, I don't remember what the sauce was, but it was the most delicious gnocchi I've ever had, and I'm really not exaggerating.
Beyond that, the service was wonderful and the atmosphere in the restaurant was really pleasant.
If you're in the area, you simply can't miss it.

I had the best lasagna in the world at this restaurant! The flavors were incredible, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with love and quality ingredients.
The place was warm and welcoming, with a cozy atmosphere that made the whole experience even better.
Highly recommended – I’ll definitely be coming back!
