My wife and I had a lovely snack with wine dinner here tonight. The wine was fabulous and the atmosphere was great, it felt very authentic. The small prosciutto sandwiches were perfect with the wine (and what a selection there was by the glass!) Alberto made us feel very welcome and gave us some great suggestions for authentic Venitian bakeries.

Very pleased. The interior has a rustic feel. It's charming and authentic.
I had some cicchetti. They tasted delicious, and the wine was excellent and served at the perfect temperature.

At La Cantinetta, you'll find a warm welcome, friendly service, and excellent cicchetti. The place is small but tastefully decorated, and two very friendly gentlemen are at the counter, perfect for a chat over your meal. The food selection is inviting: a variety of cicchetti, from classics to more sophisticated options, focaccia, vegetarian, fish, and meatballs, mozzarella in carrozza, and a hot dish that today was fish soup.

Excellent wine bar run by a passionate wine merchant. Delicious antipasti, charcuterie and cheese boards perfect for pairing with wonderful discoveries of Italian wines by the glass (€5-8). A truly great neighborhood spot in Venice.

We tried it for an aperitif and for lunch. We appreciated the wine selection, as well as the host's expertise, which helped us choose some truly interesting and unique wines, and the excellent cicchetti. The food selection also includes platters and a soup of the day, which, although we hadn't tried them, looked very appetizing.
