La Patatina a San Giacomo In Venezia

We stopped here for a quick lunch & were pleasantly surprised. We each had sandwiches & they were probably the best we've had in Italy!

We were looking for a place to try the famous Venetian cicchetti, and it was a sure hit. The owner recommended the best tapas, and the place has a great vibe and is very well located.

My partner and I stopped for a few cicchetti and something to drink. We ordered two spritzes; they don't use Aperol or Campari, but a very similar artisanal spirit (a little fruitier and more bitter than classic Aperol). The cicchetti weren't bad, but not among the best I've had in Venice, and the selection was a bit limited. There's no bathroom inside the bar, so you have to use the one in the bakery/pastry shop across the street (I think it's the same owner or manager, because he used to go back and forth between the two places). The prices are fair (€3 for cicchetti, €5 for spritz). I think they've changed management since previous reviews, and there's been a slight drop in quality. It's not a place I'd return to, but it's not one to avoid either; I'd say it's a place of equal merit.

Okan went out of his way to make our group of 4 happy, not thirsty any longer and eat some great food.

A beautiful wine shop with a huge selection of wines and also craft beers. The cicchetti are spectacular, fresh and delicious!

A very nice place with reasonable prices. The breads are very well-made. Crispy and tender, with delicious toppings.

Desserts are very tasty, pizza too. I recommend it. Second time in Venice and I was looking for this cafe on cats. Prices are reasonable)
