It's inconceivable that one of the city's best ice cream parlors and cafés is closed on Sundays, occupying one of the best outdoor spaces in lower Bergamo.

I went to Gelateria & Pâtisserie La Pasqualina and had an excellent experience. The atmosphere is beautiful and cozy, and it was even more special with the fireplace lit – you just want to stay there without any rush. We were very well attended to and served, without delay, with cordial and attentive service. I ordered a hot chocolate, I just thought it could have been a little warmer. I also tried the "girandela" (a type of cinnamon roll) and a dessert that mixes ice cream with biscuit and raspberry – both were very tasty. My favorite was the girandela: perfect, with a wonderful combination of salted caramel, well balanced and delicious. I would definitely go back, mainly for the atmosphere and the desserts.

A lovely pastry shop, bar, and café in the city center with excellent desserts. The artisanal panettone is a must-try, excellent.
