Traditional dishes. The Tuscan soup, tripe, and pici al vino were all very good. Adequate portions. Very good service, attentive and helpful. Average price for a cover charge, a first course, a second course, a glass of house red, a coffee, and 1 liter of water.

It's very beautiful here, and there are typical local foods and drinks.

Great food, great decoration, great service and very reasonable bill. Highly recommended.

This restaurant is located a little far from the Massa Marittima cathedral or the museum area, at the end of a medieval street, near the church of Sant'Michel. It offers tables inside or outside, on the street. It does not show any specific decoration or atmosphere. It is run by a family. The service is discreet, a little distant. I ordered a piece of meat that could not be served because it became tough when cooked. They had the decency to tell us so. The parpadelle with pork ragu were quite good, and so were the other dishes. The surprise came at dessert time. Non-existent menu. We left without being able to eat dessert. Quite amazing, it had never happened to me until I arrived in Toscana Marittima, where it seems that it is the norm to have a short, or very short, dessert menu, with one, two or three dishes to select at most. It seemed, a little, maybe it is a feeling, that they wanted to close, even though it was not very late, at noon. All in all strange.

We stopped for a bite to eat for lunch and were greeted warmly. The atmosphere was well-kept and clean. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The charcuterie and bean platter was delicious. We'll be back!
