I ordered the pasta Bolognese as a starter and the meat as a main course. Excellent flavor. The only thing I didn't like were the potatoes because they were very greasy. I think they were fried (I'm not sure), but I must admit they were delicious. Overall, a very good place and the food was excellent. I recommend it.

Quiet place (perhaps we went during a non-peak hour) with good food. Enjoyed the classics of tagliatelle with beef ragu (bolognese) and tiramisu. Appreciated the friendly service and complimentary bread too.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner and the girls were incredibly kind. I come to Bologna often, and this was my first time at Nuova Fraschetta. I had the best gramigna with ragù ever. I can't wait to return.

We visited Bologna in October 2025 and stayed at a great Airbnb just one block from the train station. Within a four block semi circle from that location were some terrific restaurants, not touristy, local, and walkable. La Nuova Fraschetta was one of our favorites and we returned there for another dinner. The bruschetta was perfect, the ragu one of the best, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious pasta, ravioli, and wines. The staff were lovely, generous, and always ready with helpful advice. An excellent restaurant in Bologna, in a pleasant setting!

I was in Bologna for my wife's health problems and before an operation we went to Nuova Fraschetta to eat and I can say that in addition to the kindness of the staff, the food was excellent and the pasta was fresh and homemade. I recommend it.

10/01/2026: I've never eaten so well. Giorgia, a girl with a big heart, is super kind. The dishes are abundant and delicious, and I'll be there as soon as I leave the hospital. Thank you so much. Today I had exceptional dishes, generous portions, cooked to perfection, perfect flavor. After asking for some tips, I repeat, I've never eaten so well. I know what it means to eat well. I'm from Sicily and I know flavors, how to cook them. I spent three months in the hospital. I can't wait to go out and come with my children and eat right there. I'm telling you, hot dishes. They seemed freshly made to order. The kindness of the lady, whom I thank so much.
25/12/2025: A fantastic restaurant, both for the quality of the food and the kindness and hospitality of the staff. I enjoyed exquisite dishes, from appetizers to first courses and desserts. For me, it was a sad and challenging day due to the illness of my partner, who underwent surgery at Sant'Orsola Hospital. These gentlemen welcomed me despite the restaurant being fully booked on Christmas Day and made me feel at home. Thanks again to this magnificent restaurant. Carla

Ristorante Pizzeria le Arcate

10/03/2026: I can't stomach pizza in the evening, but this whole-wheat pizza was excellent! The menu has a wide selection, and not just for pizza. The service is quick and friendly. The price is reasonable. I'll definitely be back.
08/03/2026: We celebrated March 8th!! We had a great time at this venue, a huge thank you to the staff for playing Moldovan music!! We were very happy.
