The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner and the girls were incredibly kind. I come to Bologna often, and this was my first time at Nuova Fraschetta. I had the best gramigna with ragù ever.
I can't wait to return.

We visited Bologna in October 2025 and stayed at a great Airbnb just one block from the train station. Within a four block semi circle from that location were some terrific restaurants, not touristy, local, and walkable. La Nuova Fraschetta was one of our favorites and we returned there for another dinner. The bruschetta was perfect, the ragu one of the best, and the service was exceptional. Highly recommend this place.

Delicious pasta, ravioli, and wines. The staff were lovely, generous, and always ready with helpful advice. An excellent restaurant in Bologna, in a pleasant setting!

I was in Bologna for my wife's health problems and before an operation we went to Nuova Fraschetta to eat and I can say that in addition to the kindness of the staff, the food was excellent and the pasta was fresh and homemade. I recommend it.

Everything about our night was perfect, and we really appreciate your warm friendly hospitality, great recommendations, fresh pasta, seafood, deserts, beautiful food, and drinks.
We live in Tuscany, and we cannot recommend your place highly enough.
