Brought by friends, I found a nice, clean, welcoming environment, friendly and helpful staff. Menu with the right variations, what we ate was really appreciated, decent choice of wines, excellent desserts too. The price is right as are the portions (apart from the picana which is served in 1kg pieces but it can be eaten by several people). I'm not comfortable but if I pass I'll definitely stop.

I've been going to this place for years and I've always had a good time. Traditional dishes, some revisited. Excellent desserts. Friendly and family atmosphere.

Historic restaurant in San Lazzaro. Classic Bolognese menu with excellent and copious courses. The service is also very good and an environment suitable for everyone: young and old. Average prices and convenient parking. At lunch the offer is also aimed at those who work with specific and convenient proposals.

Siamo andati con amici. Tavolata numerosa. Abbiamo cercato di ottimizzare le ordinazioni e tutto è andato per il meglio. Minestre più che discrete. Carne ottima. Scelta vini non vastissima, ma di buona qualità e con ricarichi corretti. Servizio essenziale, ma efficiente. Le recensioni lette non avevano particolarmante entusiasmato, ma devo dire che alla fine sono stato molto soddisfatto. Se volete mangiare buona carne questo posto fa per voi.

Il Boccone del Prete

19/05/2025: I had lunch at Boccone del Prete and was enchanted. The place is truly evocative: surrounded by greenery, with a simply breathtaking view of Bologna. But what strikes you even before the view is the atmosphere you breathe: welcoming and genuine. The staff makes you feel at home, with a discreet but present kindness, which transmits care and attention to every detail. The cuisine is of the highest level: dishes thought out with intelligence and prepared with excellent raw materials. Each course, from appetizers to desserts, was a real experience, satisfying for the palate and also for the eyes. The desserts, in particular, were a real treat, original and delicious. A place to return to, and to recommend without hesitation.
