La Medusa In Portovenere

First of all, the service was very friendly, attentive, and meticulous. They welcomed us without a reservation, and we stumbled upon it purely by chance. An excellent dinner with good value. The setting is well-kept, clean, and has a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

You have to move a little away from the seafront, and don't hesitate to walk a little in the heart of the village to find this restaurant on a small square that is very quiet and pleasantly cool in summer. But what a treat!! Everything is perfect, the welcome first with the smile and the kindness of the waiter, the cuisine then with dishes that delight our taste buds (the seafood pasta is "killer"), the relaxing and superbly decorated setting. If you pass through Porto Venere don't hesitate, go there, you will be amazed!!!

The food is excellent. The owner and waiters are very hospitable and attentive. It's a lovely restaurant. You feel welcome. We'd gladly return.

Very friendly staff, fast service, and good food. They also have gluten-free options on their menu, and the mixed fried fish is excellent. A 10 out of 10 for the Potovenere semfreddo dessert... a wonderful memory to take home.

Very good restaurant without the waterfront, but the dishes are worth the detour. A great bar, refined desserts. The terrace on a small square is a plus.

The Medusa restaurant is located in the historic center of Portovenere, nestled in the narrow streets of the famous Carruggi. The setting is small but very well-kept, and the outdoor space is enchanting. We ate very well, with typical Ligurian dishes. Compliments for the basil and pine nut semifreddo, it was "divine." The table service was welcoming and very knowledgeable. Compliments to all the staff. We will be back soon.

We went to this restaurant last night and had a wonderful time. The staff was very courteous; we were greeted kindly and seated immediately. We ordered shortly after, and they began serving us right on time. Delicious dishes, very carefully prepared and innovative. The fish and fruit pairings in the appetizers were truly delicious. The first courses were generous, and the artisanal pasta had that extra touch of passion for their craft. We didn't order second courses, but intrigued by the descriptions of the dessert, we asked for advice, and the basil in the dessert is wonderful! We will definitely be back. The location is simple, bright, and the atmosphere is pleasant, with ideal background music and a very welcoming atmosphere. A wonderful evening.

Un eccellente piccolo ristorante non turistico, con personale molto gentile e piatti semplice e ben realizzati. Ottimo lo spaghetto col pesce, l'ombrina al forno e il tiramisu, per una volta tradizionale e non odiosamente 'reinventato'. Conto ragionevole, tutto, insomma, più piacevole del solito. Ci torneremo.
