Casual restaurant with excellent seafood dishes. The starters and appetizers are excellent and plentiful. The pizzas, of all kinds and with a variety of creative twists, are also excellent. Service can be slow at times due to the large number of diners. Excellent value.

Lunch in a historic location overlooking the sea: the charm of the past is palpable, although a few touches of modernization wouldn't hurt.
The service was a bit slow, but the kindness of the staff made up for it.
The menu is extensive and varied, with a truly remarkable seafood selection. Impeccably fresh, with a simply spectacular selection of seafood, it's worth the visit alone!
On the downside: the busiate were cooked too raw for my taste—to call them al dente would be an understatement!
Overall, good value. I'd recommend this place for anyone seeking authentic seafood flavors in a charming setting.

While vacationing in Palermo with my family, we wanted to eat fish for dinner. After some research, we chose La Mattanza restaurant. A wonderful place, located on the sea, with a truly breathtaking view.
We ate deliciously, from appetizer to dessert: everything was impeccable. The staff was fast, attentive, and pampered us until the very end.
Highly recommended if you're in Palermo and want to enjoy excellent fish in an enchanting location!

We visited twice, once for lunch and again for dinner to try the pizza.
Lunch - this was good, we had pasta and wine. The atmosphere was pleasant, service was relatively quick, but pizza was not available.
We returned for dinner and the atmosphere felt a little hectic. The temperature felt much warmer than lunch time, the pizzas were not as good as the pasta, and the service was slower given how busy the restaurant was.
I personally prefer a calmer experience, if you do to then lunch here is better for you. If you love more of a buzz around you then you will enjoy the dinner.

A restaurant just a few meters from the sea, with a menu rich in seafood dishes, good food, and friendly service. It's a shame there's no terrace where you can dine entirely outside in the summer (the dining room is located inside a veranda).

Come sempre da 20 anni una conferma, dopo un paio di anni sono tornato a mangiare in questo ristorante pizzeria gestito da Piero un grande coordinatore e rappresentante pizza servizio insomma tutto top complimenti a Nicola il pizzaiolo storico. Consiglio sia pizza che pesce

Abbiamo cenato benissimo una domenica.
Il pesce fresco dei vari antipasti, paste cottura a cottura perfetta e veramente abbondanti.
I dolci molto buoni🙂 la foto l’ho fatta quando già li stavo mangiando 🙂 Ci torneremo spesso.
