Great pasta and one of the best sautéed vegetables we have eaten in Italy. The chitarrina with ragù sauce is perfect in texture and taste, and the gnocchi with pesto and sausage is on point. Best of all incredibly reasonable prices. Don’t miss this place if you are traveling the wine country of Chieti region.

During the pandemic, the venue was renovated in its furnishings and organisation; The owner, Fabio, now takes care of the kitchen while his family serves in the dining room and issues payment receipts. The lounge, with adjoining bar, is tidy but, at times, distracting, mixing intimate dinners and tables for special occasions. The dishes are the same as before the renovation but served with greater professionalism and respect for the hygiene standards made necessary during the pandemic. Excellent place for lunches during work breaks and without particular needs with prices that have become, however, in line with other restaurants in the area whereas before Covid they were decidedly more competitive. Highly recommended for a healthy and abundant libation without particular demands at, all in all, very accessible costs.
