Excellent experience, delicious food. We celebrated my daughter's wedding. Everyone in Ostia was happy and satisfied.

La Mariposa is an excellent, yet very small, beach resort. It has only a few cabins with indoor showers, as the sea has eroded the beach in recent years, forcing them to reduce the number of cabins. Cleanliness is excellent; all public restrooms are spotless, with hot water always available, and are kept that way until closing time. The beach service is attentive and attentive, and there is a fenced-in volleyball court. The restaurant is top-notch, with a large indoor dining room with numerous tables and a large covered veranda overlooking the sea, also well-arranged. Laura, who runs the place with passion, organizes evenings and events upon request and for special occasions that will never be forgotten, such as New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day, anniversaries, First Communions, etc. During July and August, the restaurant offers a hot and cold buffet. As I mentioned, the restaurant is excellent and top-notch. Reservations are essential for lunch and dinner on weekends, otherwise you may have trouble finding a table.

Nice place, the meat very nervous, the aubergine meatballs nothing exceptional, the pata good, maybe Saturday night was too chaotic...
