Kind and friendly staff, generous portions, excellent dishes, and amazing fried fish. A no-frills place, ideal for those who want to eat well and budget-friendly. Highly recommended.

Very tasty fish and seafood dishes. The menu is only available in Italian, as is the entertainment. But they make a lot of effort to entertain, even with translators.

Excellent selection of food. The exquisite tordelli are also worth trying. The lady who runs it is very friendly. All for a more than reasonable price: highly recommended.

It’s not my cup of tea - but seafood isn’t my cup of tea haha. The service and atmosphere were great. If you like seafood, you’ll love it here.

A great find in the heart of Pietrasanta! Mariposa Marina di Pietrasanta is a small, welcoming restaurant. The service was impeccable: attentive, kind, and punctual. The quality of the dishes is excellent, with generous portions featuring fresh ingredients and homemade pasta. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Stopped here for lunch as it was out of town and likely quieter. However it is a regular for locals and the police, but the owner kindly sorted out a new table for us. The service was excellent and the food was amazing. Can absolutely recommend to others.

I used Google Gemini to search for a good seafood restaurant where locals go to and found this Gem! The food is amazing and the price is really reasonable or shall I say quite unbelievably reasonable. They do not speak English and are very busy with few staff. They are however friendly and try to be helpful. With sign language and some English, we managed to communicate. The seafood pasta and fritti are just incredibly delicious. The must try is their lobster pasta where the lobster meat is ground and cooked into the sauce giving amazing flavors. There is a take out counter with seafood salads, roast meat, stuff squid with mussels and all kinds of very enticing food. Seafood is really fresh. We are so impressed that we drove another one hour to Pietrasanta from Lucca and one hour back just to eat lunch there again. We might just plan to travel to Pietrasanta again from Seattle just to eat there again! 😋😋😋Highly recommended!!

Abbiamo cenato in questa gastronomia a Pietrasanta. Tordelli al ragù e fritto misto di calamari e gamberetti molto buoni porzioni generose 😄 consigliato.
