The food was quite tasty. Pizza and stuffed foccacia. Everything was served quickly. A carafe of red wine added to the Tuscan atmosphere. A fun way to flush the toilet ;-).

Very nice place to have a bite. Friendly staff, swift service, very reasonable prices, very good value for money. Decent wines, nice pizzas. Located in the center of town. Only drawback is, the store across the street plays pretty loud rock and La Mangiatoia plays pretty loud (mainly) Italian music. Depending on the songs played, this can be a bit cacophonic. Otherwise very much recommended!

Delightful experience. The food is fresh, tasty and the service is friendly and attentive. The portions are sufficient. We sat inside on a hot day and enjoyed the experience.

The restaurant may not be typical Italian, but the pizza is. The decor is more of a mix between a hunting lodge and a tavern. The pizza itself is impeccable, classic Italian, and simply delicious. It may not have been a hit, but the competition is fierce, and the pizza here was no different from those served at other places I've visited. We didn't wait long for the place or the pizza itself, and the prices are very reasonable, so overall, I give it a thumbs up.

01/09/2025: A very rustic restaurant located in the province of Pisa, near Navacchio, a hamlet of Cascina. The restaurant is located inland from the main road connecting Pisa and Cascina. It's certainly a restaurant with twenty years of history, very rustic and traditional, with a distinctive look. The staff is all very courteous and helpful, with a good amount of experience. Here you can enjoy both grilled meat and fish, as well as wood-fired pizza. Prices are fairly average, except for a few dishes that, in my opinion, are overpriced. We ate well, the service was quick, and the staff was very friendly.

21/09/2025: I highly recommend them for the kindness I found from the staff. I was looking for a specific plant, and they were able to serve me perfectly despite closing time. Truly excellent.
17/09/2025: Unfortunately, there's very little choice. There are plenty of trees and some outdoor plants, but not to the extent that you'd find in Germany. There are hardly any indoor plants, and there isn't really a café either, just a seating area with a coffee machine. Everything is very empty and not particularly busy.
