Everything is perfect - from the ice cream to the pastries. The cannoli are made fresh. The interior of the shop is a nice place to have breakfast.

We travelled all over italy trying minimum 30 gelatos and this is the best by far the mandorla and pistacchio one are THE BEST do not skip this ice cream place and we tried all the other ones in sienna

Well, if you're craving a properly made gelato, I'll tell you where to go. There's no fuss here, but rather the passion of the people who work there and the quality of the real thing. You can immediately taste, from the first bite, that they use top-quality ingredients. The gelato is truly exquisite, perfectly creamy, and with a flavor that lingers in your memory, the kind you won't easily forget. And not only that, they also make a granita with brioche that's the best, just like they do down south. It's one of those honest places, where the raw ingredients are respected and they take care to do things right. A top-notch place, period. When the quality is this good, there's little else to say.

Tan bien, que fui dos veces. Preciosa tienda de helados con algunos asientos disponibles. Servicio cálido, en muchas gelaterias se siente que al personal no le gustan los turistas pero no aquí. Todos los sabores de helado que probé fueron perfectos, deliciosos y de excelente calidad. Seguramente este es el mejor helado en Siena, muy recomendable.

03/09/2025: I honestly don't think this place is worth the hype. After reading so many good reviews we booked a lunch there. The reservation was not necessary because the place was absolutely empty. We had tartare and beetroot tartare and then pasta with truffles and pasta with yellow tomatoes (this was absolutely the worst of the dishes we ordered). Menu seemed interesting but all the dishes we had were just mediocre, nothing special, they lacked the twist, flavour, the taste was very boring. All of them required additional seasoning. So we left disappointed. I don't see how this place could get Michelin recommendation, maybe it changed a lot since then? We had plenty of better meals in Tuscany. Yet this place is more expensive than most of the places in the area. On the good note, the stuff was nice and very attentive. Overall, I think you can easly skip this place if you are in the area and look for something else.

06/10/2025: We were here on October 6, 2025. All the dishes were excellent, with great presentation. The ambiance was lovely, with very good and attentive service. We would come back.
06/10/2025: We'd heard about this trattoria and were really curious to try it. First, I wanted to praise the helpfulness and knowledge of the staff. They were truly kind in their welcome (with three small children and a bulky stroller) and knowledgeable in explaining the various dishes. Moving on to the dishes, we were pleasantly surprised by the combinations and the quality offered. Raw ingredients crafted by a Chef with a capital C. The homemade gelato was also excellent. The price might certainly be a bit high, but honestly, you pay for quality. The atmosphere was comfortable, typically Tuscan. Thank you, and see you next time.
