Not being from the area, we relied on Maps to find an ice cream shop that had good/excellent reviews. Fortunately we were not disappointed: the ice cream shop is small, but functional. The products offered are certainly of quality, and I highly recommend the almond ice cream!

Stumbled on this gelateria by accident. Wasn’t to interested in ice cream but noticed cannoli. Boy! Freshly filled with ricotta cheese and dipped in crushed pistachios on either end. Sat and ate outside Fortezza de Medicea. Delicious.

The passion of Michele and the Marchese family combined with the quality of Callebaut products make Gelateria La Mandorla a sort of Temple of taste! Exquisite ice creams, cream and black cherry pasticciotti, puff pastries, donuts and cakes, colorful semifreddos... a delight for the senses!!!

19/01/2025: Ottimo Ristorante, servizio molto cortese e pietanze sapientemente cucinate, i sapori veri che ti aspetti in Toscana e che qui trovi tutti. Fusilli di farro al pesto di erbette del luogo e risotto ai funghi, faraona e maialino, crostone toscano, dolce del soldato, lasciano tutti sapori intensi e delicati insieme. Luciano gran cuoco, sapiente il suo tocco, qua bisogna tornare..
05/01/2025: Impeccable experience… Excellent service and selection of wines paired with the dishes. The dishes are those of the Tuscan tradition but with that pinch of sprint that doesn't hurt. The lamb rump was simply divine.
