La Mandorla In Milano

The proposal of this restaurant is not particularly clear: reading the menu it is clear that it is clearly a fish restaurant; but the place is set up like a bar-sandwich shop (there are two counters like in the more classic bars in the office areas of Milan), the tables are those of the original furnishings and the (narrow) seats do not reach 20; the prices are decidedly high, controlled only with TheFork discounts; a bill of €45 per person for 3 starters and a main course, a glass of wine and a bottle of water each is decidedly high, taking into account that there aren't even a tablecloth or cloth napkin but a miserable paper placemat and the TNT napkin. The dishes are not bad, even if in all there is a hint of spiciness and in each there is a small interpretation of the chef (e.g. mussels, clams and chickpeas); the doses are exaggerated, perhaps to justify the high prices. My mother-in-law was happy, and that's enough for me; but to eat good fish, paying the right amount, in a suitable place, I will certainly not return here. Good luck to the chef.

Welcoming place, fast and attentive service ... all wrapped up in fresh, tasty and carefully selected flavours!! Worth trying for your breakfasts but also for a quick lunch or a romantic evening 😋

We always eat very well here, excellent quality raw materials and everything well cooked. The place looks a bit more like a retro bar than a restaurant, but it doesn't matter to me :-)!
