I attended an Inter Milan women's match here and was thrilled by the atmosphere. The Arena Civica is an architectural highlight and offers a much more personal atmosphere than the larger stadiums. Pros: Great location in Parco Sempione and a unique, historic setting for football. Cons: The stands and restrooms are charming, but could use some modernization. A fantastic experience for any fan who wants to enjoy football in a special setting!

The athletics track is very well maintained. The stands are a bit neglected. This is a place that deserves more attention.

In May 1995, I was actually entering this legendary Arena stadium with my colleagues from Via Carducci 1/A in Milan, to hold a demonstration in support of ADMO. We had organized everything for that evening: a triangular soccer tournament between our districts and the INTER Primavera team, acrobatic flights with pilots from Aeromeodellistica Lombarda, and free black and blue soccer balls thrown into the stands by the Milanese InterClub Coordination Center. But then, given its proximity to the "Partita del Cuore" (Party of the Heart) at the Meazza Stadium between the National Singers and Magistrates Team, the National ADMO President, Professor Renato Picardi, rightly decided to move our event outside of Milan, thus providing publicity and advance ticket sales for the huge match on June 2nd at San Siro. But right here at the Arena, where we 'could have given more', walking past us during a work break, lo and behold I bumped into Enrico Ruggeri... A sign of destiny!

And it is closed and cannot be visited.

Visited last Sunday to watch the Inter women's soccer match. In the past, it was a guided tour and many years ago, it hosted concerts. A historic piece of Milan.
