Mangiato molto bene. Piatti biologici a km. zero. Proprietario simpatico, ti suggerisce lui il menù, almeno per la prima volta che vai. Ottima cucina , servizio e qualità . Torneremo sicuramente

Se l'amore per i borghi medievali del messinese vi condurrà anche alla ricerca certosina di sapori inediti, stuzzicanti e per palati giocosi fate tappa a "La Macina", nel pulpito di San Marco D'Alunzio (ME). Varcato un arco che sembra evocare il tempio di Ercole e nella quiete di un cortile rincuorante, "La Macina", vi delizierà lungo un excursus di piatti a base di verdure autoctone, paste delicate, carni variegate, equilibri speziati capaci - oggigiorno - di animare quel passato e quelle vite un tempo votate al raggiungimento di gradevoli piaceri e di appagamenti che oltrepassano pure il godimento della tavola.

An authentic Sicilian restaurant with an extraordinary traditional setting with super friendly, pleasant, smiling staff and the owner is incredibly kind. The dishes are homemade and 100% Sicilian cuisine.
I'm definitely starting it again.

Excellent restaurant, where not only the quality of the dishes served is exceptional and unique compared to many restaurants found in Sicily, but also the staff and the people who work there are very welcoming.
Absolutely worth trying, I hope to be able to return soon.
As a dish, I recommend trying the pasta with nettles, delicious and unique in taste.

A real, sincere place, where we entered by chance and which we left happy. Simple but phenomenal flavors that made us rediscover tastes that we didn't even remember anymore! I was struck by the quantity of different vegetables offered on the menu, all tasty and delicious: spectacular cardoon fritters, black rice with very particular red cabbage and broccoli, nettle pasta with diced mushrooms, aubergines and courgettes which made me move by how much it was good. A warm greeting to Pippo and Rita who manage this restaurant with love.

Excellent cuisine, genuine and simple but not banal, also suitable for very young children and vegetarians. Staff with a courtesy and kindness now very rare, they treated us with inestimable care. Easy to get to and in a wonderful location!
