Incredible personal service. We were greeted by the owner, who was cooking, and his father, who served us at 77 years of age, better than any of us. Delicious food, wonderful atmosphere, excellent location, and service that makes us want to return. Not to be missed! Thank you so much!

The owners are kind and attentive, able to make every guest feel at home. The dishes are well-prepared, rich in flavor and tradition. In short, a place where I would gladly return!

Characteristic place, almost "mountain", in a very nice town. Too bad you can't enjoy a view of the Aeolian Islands. I recommend a round of appetizers, practically mandatory given the owner's insistence and with good reason :). It's a shame that cream was used in the first one to perhaps give more of a flavour, in my opinion there was no need for it as it covered the rest of the toppings.

In the middle of the beautiful center of San Marco d’Alunzio we entered the Ritrovo La Macina restaurant after a long day of hiking. We were warmly welcomed and invited to the upper level of the house. Since we prefer to eat vegetarian food, our host selected suitable delicacies for us. It was a culinary journey full of delicious flavors. Typically Sicilian served with hospitality. Unfortunately, since we can't speak Italian well yet, the owner helped us with his charm, knowledge of human nature and the translation program on his cell phone. We therefore ordered without a menu and were able to concentrate confidently on enjoying the many dishes on offer. An absolute tip - we'll be back!

We were today to visit San Marco d'Alunzio and we had lunch in this restaurant where we had a great time, welcomed like old friends, including our dog, in a warm environment where they delighted us with an appetizer made up of many traditional and original dishes with cooked dishes and complex preparations (there were no usual cheeses and cured meats) all very good and with attention to detail also in the presentation. The caponata moved me, the same as the one my mother made, excellent. The Nebrodi pork fillet was also excellent, its simplicity allowing you to fully appreciate its flavour, tender enough to melt in your mouth. Finally a restaurant that makes desserts and doesn't just defrost them, really good ones. Unfortunately we live far away but we hope to return to visit them soon. Thanks from our friends in Catania.

Very welcoming place and good food. We ate in this place on May 1st and perhaps the excessive turnout was to the detriment of the service. We sat down at 1pm and finished at 3.50pm. I hope to be able to return on a quieter day

The food was very good, except the pasta with sauce which was a little raw in my opinion and the service a little slow, but I was satisfied
