Recommended little place... a perfect choice... the village is a gem on top of a hill from which you can see a breathtaking view... the food is special and not at all predictable, meat that melts in your mouth... compliments to Fabrizio but above all to Mr. Pippo who knew how to entertain us with some pearls of his life without being at all intrusive... excellent host... we highly recommend the place because it deserves it... a hug from his friend Naso :)

This was a unique a one of a kind experience - the place itself has absolutely wonderful atmosphere, nested within the beautiful historical town's center - but what made the experience truly special was a presence of the owner himself, who sat by our table and talked to us, making sure that we had everything we needed and just chatting with us about life. The service was very professional, the food was exquisite and we felt very welcomed and cozy during our time spent there. We will definitely come back again and I would wholeheartedly recommend everyone visiting Sicily to stop by in San Marco d'Alunzio to visit this restaurant. Unforgettable experience, thank you! :)

Very nice, very good and very authentic. Which means that if you want to have the full Italian experience and spend hours eating and drinking great wine it's the place to go. It's also great for a quick bite

It's worth coming. The owner Pippo and chef Fabrizio welcomed us as if we had known each other our whole lives. We spent 2 hours in pleasant company with them and the waiter, enjoying excellent food and drinks. We will definitely come again if the trip brings us there.

We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant and were truly thrilled. The food won us over from the first bite: dishes rich in flavor, prepared with evident passion and attention to quality. But what struck us even more was the humanity and kindness of the owners. After the meal, we also had the pleasure of a long chat with these wonderful people, who were truly delightful to talk to. We felt welcomed like family. Making the experience even more special is the setting: a charming village, rich in atmosphere and tradition, offering a truly evocative panoramic view. A place that invites you to relax and enjoy every moment. It's a place we will definitely return to, not only for the excellent cuisine, but also for the Sicilian warmth we experienced. I would feel remiss if I delayed any longer in writing this review, and any of you went to San Marco d'Alunzio but skipped this great dining experience. Just steps off the main pedestrian thoroughfare, the owner welcomes you personally and the chef speaks with you to answer any questions you have. We let the owner guide us in our choices. The antipasti all'Italiana kept coming and coming with over ten different plates; the lamb topped the meal off as a secondi. My friend and I each had two glasses of the house wine (he had the red, I had the white), and two hours later we left with a very reasonable bill of about eighty euros. Be aware that the charming hosts do not speak much English, but love their phone translation apps. Know how to use yours as well, and you can find out more about them, the village, and your meal.
