La Luna Pizzeria Ristorante In Firenze

I went there on Saturday evening with a reservation. The place was very crowded, but we didn't have to wait. The pizzas are good, made with various doughs and even cater to celiacs. The staff is courteous and fast. The place has an outdoor area that's very nice during the warmer months.

During our two-day stay in Florence, we ate at Pizzeria Luna with the whole family and it was a truly wonderful experience. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the staff is kind and knowledgeable, helpful, and very attentive to the needs of their customers. One aspect that particularly impressed us was the attention to gluten intolerance. Our daughter, who is celiac, was able to safely enjoy a special gluten-free fried fish dish, delicious and meticulously prepared. It's not at all easy to find a restaurant so prepared for this. The rest of the food was also excellent, with quality ingredients and generous portions. We felt truly pampered and at ease, which is essential when traveling with specific dietary needs. Highly recommended for both families and anyone looking for a reliable restaurant with excellent food in the heart of Florence. We'll definitely be back on our next visit!

Very good pizzas in a welcoming place

Recommended by a Florentine, my family and I had lunch with pizza and appetizers, the experience was very positive, excellent pizza and also very good fried foods. It should be noted that they are a gluten-free pizzeria, not always easy to find, something that had never happened to me, was that the waiter when ordering asked if we had any particular allergies.

The private rooms in the back are lovely. The food is excellent.

Amazing pasta, some of the best I've ever had, served by two incredibly friendly waitresses. And the prices were fantastic. The tables were a little small, but all in all, a superb experience.

After a moment of confusion trying to find the location of the reserved table, we ate—I had an average pizza, preceded by a pleasant appetizer—served with kindness and friendliness by knowledgeable and attentive staff. The price was reasonable.

The pizza was really good and light. I had a Margherita and it was delicious, but the menu has several very interesting and unusual options! The place is quite small, so reservations are recommended. The only downside is that when I went for a birthday party on a Friday night (a table of 20 people), we got to dessert and they were practically sold out... so some people had to make do with what was left, while others did without. Still, I highly recommend the place!

The table we booked wasn't ready yet. There were a lot of guys waiting outside besides us, but after 10/15 minutes, not long, they sat us down at a table in a cold room (despite the air conditioning being on) where we were the only ones. It was a small room outside the restaurant. The not-so-friendly waiter made a few inappropriate jokes and asked a friend of mine, "Did you drink before coming here?" We told her we had an aperitif (a glass of wine). Her response? "YOU CAN SEE IT." We gave him a dirty look, but we were so embarrassed for him that we couldn't answer. MHA. The girls, on the other hand, were very nice and polite! I remembered the normal pizzas better. It was my friend smoking an IQOS, thinking it was okay since we were the only ones in the room. The waiter who was there didn't say anything to us when he was clearing the table. He must have called the nice guy and said, "Girls, we're in the Big Brother house, you can't smoke." Which is fine, of course! Just say that smoking is not allowed and that's it 😂 The thing that really upset me was that without telling us anything they turned off the heating with the remote control, perhaps making us understand that they were closing? At 11:50 PM they came to tell us they were closing, when at 10 PM they still hadn't taken our order. Turn off the heating at least when there are no people there, for the sake of politeness at least...! The house wine gives me a headache after an hour. I'm counting ok, but I won't be returning.
