La Luge In Valtournenche

I'm talking about the restaurant: the menu is very limited and there's no choice. Service is extremely slow. The dishes are overly mixed, but not executed like gourmet dishes.

I've only been to this place for the restaurant, but I've viewed the rooms on the website. A beautiful, traditional wooden restaurant with a large central fireplace. Run by a young couple and supported by a young staff. Kindness and courtesy reign supreme. The menu combines contradiction and innovation. Excellent products.

We walked from Cervinia, which in hindsight was not the best idea in February. If you are coming from Cervinia during winter, take a taxi. La Luge offers a warm and genuinely authentic atmosphere in a beautiful setting. A real fire was burning in the fireplace when we arrived, adding to the inviting and intimate feel. We were welcomed with a glass of prosecco by very friendly staff, a thoughtful touch that immediately made us feel at home. The food was exceptional. The portions were perfectly balanced, the presentation elegant, and the flavors refined and precise. The wine recommendations were excellent and complemented the dishes beautifully. We also had a brief conversation with the owner, who was attentive, knowledgeable, and sincerely kind. The desserts were thoughtfully composed and not overly sweet, which provided a perfect finish to the meal. The only disappointment was discovering this gem on our final day in Italy. A true must visit if you are staying in Cervinia or Valtournenche.

We had dinner here and it was simply amazing! The octopus was perfect, the beef fillet divine - made just perfect. The risotto is amazing and the service impeccable! Highly recommend coming for dinner. Romantic and incredibly delicious.

I went there n Christmas day for a couple of ski days with friends. Not cheap but worth the price

Great and kind staff, the rooms are cozy but the best part is for sure the food offer. Breakfast is great but dining is really really good. The restaurant has an amazing service and atmosphere. For those who love wine, the owner is very passionate about it and he will make sure to suggest the best options based on your taste.

I didn't stay at the property, but I was lucky enough to try their restaurant. The attention to quality ingredients, the service, and the hospitality are top-notch. One of the best in Cervinia.
