La Loge du Massif In Courmayeur

We had a wonderful weekend as a couple at Le Massif. The hotel is beautiful and the welcome was truly warm. We loved the modern yet cozy atmosphere, and a special mention goes to the spa, which, while small, is perfect after a day in the cold. Breakfast and dinner are excellent; the team at Le Massif has made this establishment a benchmark in the region. It's the perfect place, we highly recommend it!

We stayed two nights. The hotel has a beautiful and refined design, elegant and in perfect contemporary mountain style. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Our Junior Suite was very nice and clean, although not particularly large. There were some small details that could be improved, such as the slightly broken bathroom outlet, the damaged hair dryer nozzle, and the lack of a capsule coffee machine, which I would always expect in a 5-star hotel. The gym is okay, while the spa area is very nice, although we found one inconsistency: despite booking a time slot, on the first day at 6 pm it was completely full and there were no loungers available. So I wonder what the point of booking is if space isn't guaranteed. The breakfast is truly top-notch: rich, varied, and high-quality. My only complaint is that I would avoid paying for juices in a 5-star hotel. We also ordered room service, which even arrived early. The service was perfect, and the food was truly excellent, with tasty and beautifully presented dishes. Overall, a positive experience. A very beautiful facility with room for improvement to be truly impeccable.

The staff were very friendly, but the hotel is nowhere near 5-star quality! The room: small, despite the complimentary upgrade; tiny bathroom, no place to put or hang things, and a leaky shower door. The room was poorly insulated; we could hear conversations in the hallway. The only positive point: the comfortable bed. The spa: very small, and despite having a reservation, there was nowhere to sit! (4 chairs and 6 loungers). The restaurant: no wine under €13 (and even then, only cheap wines) and a very long wait. The food was okay, but nothing special (mushy, cold shrimp on hot pasta). Parking: €40 per night! Disappointed, we won't be returning at this price and we don't recommend it.

It's not a 5-star hotel at all. The location is the only plus: there's a rental shop and a cable car going up nearby. As a hotel, it's a complete quest. To get a spa, you have to buy it on their website, not through Booking.com. Then, even if you buy it with the spa included, you have to book a time slot, which isn't available when you need it. The pool is tiny, there are minimal water and thermal activities, three small steam rooms, and that's it. There's nowhere to dry clothes in the room, no hooks or drying racks. We stayed in a suite, which had only two towel hooks. The radiator in the bathroom was covered with a board and didn't heat anything, and there was no place to hang anything to dry. After the spa, we had to dry our swimming trunks on the door handles. It's livable, of course, but a 3-star hotel at most.

I stayed in this wonderful property for a few days, I was completely satisfied... very well-kept and clean location, sublime cuisine with very refined dishes and above all super helpful, polite and always smiling staff... see you next time!!

Wonderful experience. Everything was perfect, from the rooms to the service, everything was taken care of down to the smallest detail, and the staff was always available for any need. I recommend Le Massif for a unique experience, and I'll be back soon!

Great small hotel. Wonderful service. Great restaurant recommendations. Awesome front desk team. Small comes through though... in room size, bfast options... Wonderful one night experience and the staff definitely made the stay better.

As you can see in the photos, there are no tablecloths even in the dinner restaurant. The menu does not include vegetables and there is only tuna and prawns. The rooms are small and cold. The entire ground floor where the hotel and the lunch restaurant are located is extremely cold. The staff, however, is very nice and professional.

Great restaurant and excellent service

Nice hotel, but the rooms are a bit small. We stayed in a room facing the main road, and it's quite noisy if you sleep with the window open. The bar prices are expensive. The spa/pool area is rather small.
