I had the pleasure of dining at La Locandiera in San Gregorio di Catania, and I can say that it is a true paradise for fish lovers! The experience began with an exceptional appetizer, abundant and varied, which alone could almost be enough for a complete meal. From seafood crudités to light and crunchy fried foods, up to the very fresh tartare, every taste was an explosion of flavours. For the bravest, the real test comes with the first and second courses: if you manage to enjoy the entire menu, from the starter to the second course, you are a true champion! The portions are generous and each dish is a surprise. The first courses, such as pasta with seafood or spaghetti with sea urchins, are prepared with very fresh ingredients and expertly balanced flavours. As a second course, the grilled fish is simply perfect, cooked to perfection and accompanied by side dishes that enhance its taste. The service is impeccable, with friendly staff always available to recommend the best dishes or the perfect wine to pair. The atmosphere is welcoming, with a simple but refined environment, which focuses on the quality of the food. In summary, La Locandiera is the ideal place for an authentic and abundant fish dinner, where the quality and freshness of the ingredients really make the difference. I recommend arriving hungry... and preparing for a dinner that doesn't disappoint!

Dopo tanti anni, sono tornato in questo locale. Stesso servizio e qualità del cibo. Abbondanti e ottimi gli antipasti (crudo e caldo). Buonissimi i primi e secondi piatti. Consiglio, come dolce, la granita di limone e mandarino e in abbinamento, l'amaro prodotto dal proprietario del locale.

Raramente sbagliano un colpo. Qualità e cortesia sono un connubio imprescindibile alla Locandiera. Molto buoni gli antipasti, vari e abbondanti, superlative le linguine all’astice, dal sapore eccellente e dalla quantità notevole. Solito servizio impeccabile.
