La Locanda di Saturno In Sutri

A beautiful, well-kept place in the center of Sutri with a very nice and large outdoor space, excellent dishes, my family and I had a great time.

I've known this restaurant for many years, and it remains one of my favorites. The atmosphere is welcoming, charming, and relaxing. The cuisine is refined, and the staff is always very friendly and ready to accommodate any requests. This time we tried the tasting menu, and it was a true culinary experience. The presentation of the dishes is also always top-notch! Highly recommended.

When we arrived for dinner, we were "greeted" by a man (the owner). As soon as we entered, he looked at us without saying anything. Consequently, we had to tell him we had booked a table for two, and he told us (without any kind of friendliness or welcome) to choose a table of our choice. We sat down and noticed that the second part of the room was much colder than the one at the entrance, probably due to the distance from the fireplace. The same man who greeted us took our order, and along with the various courses we ordered, we also received a bottle of rosé wine. We then ordered two appetizers, one first course, and one second course. We appreciated the quality of the food and the chef's passion for his gourmet-style dishes, despite the "small" incident with one of the two appetizers. The terrible service we experienced throughout the entire dinner was finally confirmed when we received the bill, where, given the inconvenience with the appetizer, not even the 2 euros of the total 92 that were asked of us (paying in cash) were symbolically rounded up.

We went to this restaurant for dinner. The tortorelli alla carbonara were excellent, and the main courses, appetizers, and desserts were also very tasty. The atmosphere was very relaxing. The restaurant was beautiful and quaint. The wait staff was kind and friendly. The chef's food was delicious. I highly recommend it.

Definitely a tasting menu to try for €40 per person, they will pamper you from the starter to the main course, everything is of excellent quality and the composition of the dishes is top, highly recommended.

It offers authentic and refined Italian cuisine; each dish tells a story of passion and research, using top-quality ingredients and always perfect pairings. The service is attentive and professional, yet warm, making you feel welcomed and at home while maintaining elegance. We've been there before, we've been back, and we'll definitely be back whenever we can!
