Mehr oder weniger zufällig kam ich vor vielen Jahren zum ersten Mal in Kontakt mit diesem Restaurant, das Besitzerpaar mit Monika in der Küche und Massimiliano im Service hatten das Haus erst kurz zuvor erworben. Noch war der heutige Wintergarten nicht angebaut und das kleine Lokal abends stets ausgebucht. Die bauliche Veränderungen um die Jahrtausendwende ermöglichte nun vorwiegend am Abend mehr Gäste zu bedienen und bedurfte auch mehr Personal. Mittlerweise kennen wir uns recht gut, auch Schwager Luca hilft nun im Service mit. Meist kehre ich jährlich und im Spätherbst mit Freunden hierher zurück und fast immer geniessen wir das Excellente Mehrgangmenü zusammen mit einer Weinempfehlung aus der umfangreichen Karte. Massimiliano und Luca scheinen jeden Wein und Rebberg persönlich zu kennen. Von den Speisen aus Monikas Küche waren wir immer entzückt, einmal mehr und einmal etwas weniger - aber immer in einem sehr guten Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis und mit Überraschungen. Im Vergleich zum Spitzenrestaurant in Castellina (dessen Name hier unerwähnt bleibt), lohnt sich die längere Anfahrt hierher jedesmal. Die Küche hier ist fantasievoller und bietet mehr Abwechslung, der Service ist persönlicher und bietet pure Italianität“! PS: Beim letzten Besuch wählten wir als Secondo das "Tournedos Rossini", das Rindsfilet mit Stopfleber und würden dies jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

¡Increíble! En medio de la Toscana rural hay un restaurante (y un hotel, aunque solo con 5 habitaciones) que evoca un menú de 7 platos con especialidades locales, recién interpretadas. Sin mencionar el ballet del personal. El servicio es tranquilo y confiado, nada es agitado y todo encaja de maravilla. El menú de siete platos y el vino eran excepcionales y solo podemos recomendar tanto el restaurante como el alojamiento. Especialmente porque la relación precio-rendimiento es más que satisfactoria.

There were 4 of us, the food was delicious and the dishes were rather well prepared 👍 however when it was time to pay we were added 10% to the final bill as a tip! So the more we consume, the higher the tip and for us it was €30.— euros!!! Clearly exaggerated, who are you kidding? Too bad we won't be going back there again.

Pleasant atmosphere and friendly, professional staff. We were a large table and we chose the tasting menu. It certainly cannot be said that it is not quality food but the portions of the various tastings are really small and at the end of dinner I did not feel full

Ate 2 risottos, 2 salads, 2 glasses of wine, 2 bottles of water, 1 coffee and 10% service, total 80 euros, normal service. I can only compare with some excellent restaurants in my area of ​​the Romagna Riviera and frankly at these figures it seems a little expensive, overall positive but I wouldn't return
