Spectacular place, small and cozy. Limited seating. Very good food, with dishes cooked at a low temperature. The owners are very friendly and kind. Excellent service and truly spectacular dishes. I highly recommend it. If you're passing through Sarteano, stop by—the food is truly delicious. If you come, be sure to order the Pavlova for dessert.

We had a wonderful lunch here in their small garden seating area. The food, setting and service were all great. The eggplant crostini, pea soup and handmade pici are all very memorable and some of the best dishes we ate during three weeks in Italy. We happened upon this spot by chance as it happened to be on our driving route, but I would go out of my way to come here again!

02/07/2025: We took a platter with Cinta Senese cold cuts and cheeses: exquisite! The wines they produce become even more special thanks to their history (contained in the name) that the manager enthusiastically tells. They are not short-armed when pouring glasses. If you go to historic Chianciano, a stop is a must.

30/06/2025: Food orgasms, all the way! We had the tasting menu with wine pairing. The tagliatelle with tartufo was amazing and so was the octopus and the pea pie and the semifreddo! And wine pairings were so worth it. Thanks to the chefs and the staff for a great experience.
21/05/2025: A local recommended this restaurant to us, and we weren't disappointed. It's a bit hidden, so maybe that's why it's a good recommendation. We were completely satisfied. Good value for money.
