We had a wonderful lunch here in their small garden seating area. The food, setting and service were all great. The eggplant crostini, pea soup and handmade pici are all very memorable and some of the best dishes we ate during three weeks in Italy. We happened upon this spot by chance as it happened to be on our driving route, but I would go out of my way to come here again!

I was there a while ago but I have wonderful memories. Ate very well. Special and welcoming environment. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff. In my opinion one of the best places in the area. Must try.

Eccellente! Siamo stati in questo ristorante il 26 dicembre 2024. Locale rustica a accogliente. Cibo veramente sopra le righe. Proprietaria simpatica e collaboratori molto preparati. A parte una diatriba su una pietanza che non sto a menzionare per rispetto allo chef a al suo modo di preparare questa pietanza, le portate servite erano veramente superlative. Consiglio vivamente!

27/05/2025: Thank you dear people of Casa El Vento, for a fantastic stay in every way. This was our first address during our tour through the Chianti and Val d'Orcia, which immediately set the bar sky-high! Thanks to Angela for the upgrade to an apartment. So atmospheric, everything with an eye for detail, we enjoyed every minute. The accompanying Osteria is an absolute must. Nice too, so that you don't have to get out in the evening. The breakfast was also a treat. If you want this, cooking lessons, wine or olive tasting on request possible, all from our own soil. Last but not least, a thank you to Adriana, the spa manager, where we booked the Vinotherapy. Let yourself be surprised and book this in the adjacent wellness. Hope to see you soon!

Il Ceppo Toscano

12/05/2025: We had dinner last Friday, the place is very nice, well looked after even in the details with a splendid display of the meats and wines. The reinterpretation of the cappuccino is very good and I recommend trying it; the platter of Tuscan cured meats and cheeses and the tartare are excellent. The Florentine was spectacular. Cooked to perfection and delicious. All accompanied by excellent wine and excellent service. Thanks to Stefano, Beatrice and all the staff.
